Washington (CNN) - President Obama may not be physically out on the campaign trail pushing for some last minute votes but his voice is.
The President appeared on the syndicated radio programs “Steve Harvey Morning Show,” “On Air’ with Ryan Seacrest, and the “Russ Parr Morning Show.” His message to Americans: get out and vote because the stakes are high.
The President is also delivering a taped message to AOL users. On the sites “You’ve Got” feature, he encourages listeners to make a difference with their votes. “When you don’t vote you leave the decisions that affect your life up to someone else,’ he said.
As Republicans rally their base to the polls with a critique of an administration that’s failed to deliver on its promises, Mr. Obama is asking Americans to give Democrats more time to finish what they’ve started.
That message will be heard loud and clear as the President appears on additional radio shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, Jacksonville and Las Vegas.
Vice President Joe Biden is also stumping on the airwaves, appearing on the “Tom Joyner Morning Show.”
