What's on tap for Wednesday

With the mid-term election over, President Obama will convene a press conference in the East Room of the White House at 1:00pm/et on Wednesday.  CNN's Senior White House Correspondent Ed Henry will attend the press conference.  The press conference comes just two days before the president departs for a trip to India, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan.  Ed Henry reports that in addition to Wednesday’s press conference, it is expected the president will make a statement before he leaves for Asia, possibly Thursday, to offer some type of olive branch to Republicans such as calling for a bi-partisan summit – possibly at Camp David – in an effort to try and bring the two sides together in the aftermath of the election.
