President Obama traveled to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and then returned to Washington Monday afternoon to finalize tax negotiations with Democratic leaders at the White House. It was a brief trip, just three hours on the ground, thanks to the luxury that presidential travel affords, like Marine One, Air Force One, and a motorcade.
