Surprise! It's FLOTUS and Bo in the Blue Room

Washington (CNN) - Visitors on one of the regularly scheduled tours of the White House got quite a surprise Wednesday morning when they were greeted by First Lady Michelle Obama and Bo, the Obama family dog.

Greeting folks from Iowa, Florida, Texas, California and other parts of the country, Mrs. Obama welcomed visitors to the Blue Room of the White House to mark the two year anniversary of her husband taking the oath of office. She shook hands and took pictures while Bo patiently watched the parade of somewhat startled and surprised guests go by. “You can pet him if you want, he’s just hanging out,” she said to one visitor looking at Bo.

POTUS schedule for January 20, 2011

Good morning from the CNN White House Unit -

Two years ago today Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States. Things will be a bit quieter today as we only expect to see the president at one public event later this evening. He begins his day receiving the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office, followed by a meeting with his senior advisors. He will then receive the Economic Daily Briefing which will be followed by a meeting with Vice Presient Biden.
