(CNN) - As things go for fans of the Chicago Bears these days, President Obama would probably have enjoyed a different arrival ceremony than the one he received in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Wednesday.
As Air Force Once touched down in the chilly home of the team that ousted his beloved Bears from the NFL playoffs last weekend, Obama was presented with a Packers jersey that bore his name. “They’re rubbing it in,” Obama said to reporters on the tarmac as he accepted the jersey from Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker, and James Schmitt, the mayor of Green Bay.
Charles Woodson, the Packers star cornerback signed another jersey bearing his number 21, and then sounding a confident tone of his team’s prospects in the Super Bowl wrote, “See you at the White House. Go Packers.”
President Obama traveled to Wisconsin on Wednesday to tout his initiatives for expanding on the economic recovery. He plans to visit and deliver remarks at a company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin that designs and manufactures renewable energy technology for commercial and industrial businesses. He will also visit an aluminum manufacturer, and wind turbine manufacturer in Manitowoc as well.
scott walker....what an embarrassment
How could you, Mr. President? A PACKERS Jersey??? On behalf of the entire Steelers nation I must register my great displeasure with this, and remind you that Steelers fans vote too. I'd say it's time to find yourself a Terrible Towel and use it!
Of course Obama is now a Packers fan!! What did you expect from s "flip floper " like Obama, he should be more concerned how the American people feel about his payments to keep his records hidden, I think he is going to be confronted big time about his hidden records if he decides to run for a 2nd term, that alone will be a joke, but, I will make a bet with anyone out there, that Obama will not run if he has to produce those record, he knows damn well that he has made a mockery of being a President, this man should also prove how he is using a Soc. sec. card that was issued to a deceased female in Conn., Obama has never lived or attended school in that state, think of the trouble any true American would be in if they tried to pull this kind of crap. Obama did make O'Reilly look like a weakling wuss, when O'Reilly had the chance to ask more important questions pertaining to the unanswered questions of Obamas life and O'Reilly did not do it, that tells me that O'Reilly is far from being fair and balanced. Shame of both big "O,s" they should be ashamed to face the honest to god fearing Americans. Betty
"Betty" enough with the conspiracy theory crap. Get outside and see the world. If you weren't complaining about W's lies and negligence then you have no right to speak right now. You sound like a loon and no one is taking you seriously.
Bat Excrement Crazy. When O'Reily is not conservative enough for you, you've really gone off the crazy train.
