U.S. Ambassador to U.N. calls Gadhafi "delusional”

WASHINGTON (CNN) –Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi sounds "delusional," the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations said Monday, adding that "when he (Gadhafi) can laugh when talking to American and international journalists while he is slaughtering his own people, it only underscores how unfit he is to lead and how disconnected he is from reality." The comments by U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice came at a White House briefing.

I thought Gadhafi was working with the US under the Bush admin to fight terrorism? I thought according to the Bush WH he had changed? I guess it was another lie by the Bush Admin, whats that, 1,000 now and counting. Yes Gadhafi is crazy and has always been crazy but for a time he was "our crazy dictator" and that was enough for us to look the other way. Now, we need to do something about this manice but what? Bomb him? First got to find him. Bomb his troops? That will put our military is harms way. Invade Libya? Will China and Russia not veto it at the UN? Go it alone and risk the wrath of Chian and Russia which will be problematic to say the least..I have an idea...ready? Let the Libyans figure it out themselves...Embargoand sanctions Yes and the rest let the libyans figure it out. Unless Chemical and or Bio weapons are being used...Sorry Libyan people, we are tired of wars and we are broke.

Except for my humanitarian hearfelt reasons, I'm inclined to agree with you. I do pray that the LIBYAN people are able to take control of their own futures soon; because we certainly are broke and are still involved in two MIDDLE EAST wars, already! I do hate to hear of so many innocent people of any nation being brutalized and killed over class, power, politics, and greed. How we've come to be the worlds' police squad, I don't truly know; but I know many two-faced AMERICANS still expect OBAMA to do more.
