Tell me again how hard this guy works? How about sticking around to lead budget talks and not leave it up to Biden?

He's got a Vice President for a reason! He's working hard with middle-eastern Heads of State along with his Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton to ease tensions and try to begin some simulance of a culminating peaceful compromise in that part of the world, between themselves and us. That's what US Presidents do you know; or supposed to do! Work to ensure the US can go back to some good standing in the world; which we've surely lost. Though his actions caused some of it, Bush even said they didn't like us!

I thought Presidents were supposed to lead the country – not hand it off to someone else, as he has done since taking office. Nothing in this country is more important than the debt celing right now. Not to mention his so called budget proposal did not get a single vote, not 1 from his own party. This country is at a poorer standing with most countries around the world, including our friends i.e. Great Britan, Israreal. We are now giving away billions more through the EU for "bailouts" and we are about to give billions more to help rebuild Libya. This is not leadership, unless of course you think you are the leader of the whole world. If he does that is a very different problem.

The President is not the legislative branch of the government that is congress. The President doesn't go down to congress and pass laws that is why Joe Biden and Harry Ried are his representatives in the Senate, and Nancy Pelosi in the House of Representatives. The President's duties are in the Executive Branch. He leads from the Oval Office. And yes we pretty much are a major player and leader of nations. I'm sure you would be crying even louder if we weren't in our current position...and say China or Russia or all those other bugaboos were. Did you total miss American Government and Civics classes?

'Not hand it off to somebody else, as he has done since taking office'?? That's so untrue, John! If that was the case, why aren't you all complaining to the 'somebody elses' he's been handing things over to? His administration includes the Vice President; the next man in charge of the US if that time EVER presented itself. By the grace of GOD, I pray it never comes! Folks really will be begging GOD to bless and save the UNITED STATES of AMERICA! The VP's not just 'somebody'. He's THE FRONT MAN to the POTUS!
