Jill Biden and Chelsea Clinton to World Cup Final

It's soccer mania as the U.S.women's team goes to the Women's World Cup Final in Germany and two high profile U.S.women are on the official presidential delegation to cheer on the team.  The White House Thursday announced Jill Biden, wife of the vice president will lead the group which will include former first daughter Chelsea Clinton.  The final is Sunday July 17 between the United States and Japan.

I am so pleased to see these folks supporting our courageous, athletic, and savvy young soccer team – it is very inspiring...

A.) I think the debt talks are more important than a world cup so the president and vice president need to stay in Washington. If the First Lady had gone you would be the first complaining about the cost of another trip. So, I find it especially nice that Jill Biden and Chelsea Clinton are heading the delegation being sent. Can you substantiate the: "Now again"?

Why the sick sarcasm? SO WHAT? Why in the world do you folk get panties in a bunch when officials and their families take a time-out here and there? Why is it so 'painful' to you people these days? I'm really appaulled to see so much disdain, hate and digust towards a VP, Second Lady, a Former President, a Former First Lady, and a Former First Daughter! Those aren't STATE events! So they have to PAY their ways! What are your problems? Are you that jealous? If it's the President? OMG! Out of the question!

Cool! I beleive Chelsea was there the last time the ladies won in 1999. I suppose some people will complain but they would complain if Obama hadn't sent anyone? What's wrong don't people want the women's soccer team having people there cheering them on? how un patrotic.

The thousands of dollars spent on this trip convinces me the national debt is not real.
