Obama's Bus Tour Stop #4: Decorah, IA

President Obama's bus tour finally made it to Iowa with a stop in Decorah at the Seed Savers Exchange Heritage Farm where it was much like the event at Cannon Falls where he talked about job growth and speaking to "real people in real places". He continued his administration's economic message and once again took questions from audience members. Boy, girl, boy, girl.

Thank you, Mr. President, for visiting my beautiful hometown! Wish I could have been there today to help welcome you. Thank you for getting on board with infrastructure projects and the jobs that will create. Please stop giving away the farm to Repubs (I realize they are total obstructionists) and kick butt between now and the 2012 elections!

President Obama snubs citizens in Decorah. A group of approximately 1000 people anxiously awaited to get a glimpse and brief greeting from the President outside his hotel in Decorah. His staff and secret service mixed with the crowd, but the President chose to ignore the crowd and NOT make an appearance. It seems President Obama forgot how to relate to the grass roots citizens of Iowa. It also appears that he forgot who helped him get his start. There is a debate as to whether or not this was a campaign trip. Obviously it is NOT a campaign trip or he would not have chosen to ignore 1000 voters.

I dont think Obama SNUBBED the people of Decorah last night. Who can say what he had going on inside.... and Obama DID shake my hand this morning when he came out to greet about 100 people who gathered around the hotel this morning.....

Good move Mr. President take your message directly to the people and show them who is holding up all the job bills that you have proposed. The GOP is holding American people hostage and stallling the growth of the economy purposely so he can be a one term President.

President Obama should list everyone of the Republicans who asked and received stimulus money in their districts and had photo-ops holding checks tp the public. Don't back down from anything people are saying you are not tough enough although we know that is not your style do what you have to do. There is no way that we will vote for the Republican candidates we know what they stand for.

Warren Buffet spoke a mouth full this is just the boost the President needed to confirm what he has been saying about the rich maybe now they will get the message.

I just saw the video of the exchange the President had with one of them TP goons! Yeah, I call him a goon, because like most of the Tea Party, the guy did not want to listen, he just wanted to attack and fight, (the President said as much too). That dude definitely proved the narrow mindedness and entrenched ways of that political organization. If you're ever going to get something accomplished with two groups of two different view points, you gotta be willing to have an open mind and listen, and COMPROMISE. Obama/Biden-2012!!!

Obama is a very good motivational speaker. He has great experience as a community organizer too. Sadly, he is not a leader . People sense his lack of leadership and now that the stimulus plans are worthless, he seems dazed and confused. Blaming other people and trapped politically I think his promises and blame are getting weaker by the day.
Now , even CNN and NBC are starting to talk back to him. I think the honeymoon is over. We are proud to break down barriers with his election and yet now we are down to who can turn the country around. Becoming President seems to have only been a destination for him. He did talk his way into history.
