Obama Bus Tour Stop #11: Atkinson, IL

The president's first town hall of the day took place among bags of corn at the Wyffel's Hybrid Seed company in Atkinson, IL.  The presdeint made opening statements on the themes of the tour: jobs, trade deals, clean energy initiatives.  During the question and answer portion of the event, Obama said cuts to infrastructure and education is like "eating your seed corn" ... not a smart thing to do for the future.  The president also reassured a questioner that social security is not in crisis. "It will be there for you," he said.

Maybe you should take my suggestion and read: "George W. Bush and the Permanent Campaign" or go to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0312848/ and look at the 79 minute documentary "Journey's With George" which documents George Bush's campaign for his second term which was started in 2002 right after 9/11.

This is Obama's SPEAK THE TRUTH tour. We want to see and listen to him. The TEA party has put up enough obstruction on his way. It's time to vote Tea party out. And vote the centrists in.

The Tea Party is rude and disrespectful to President Obama. One would be led to believe they would not react in such a low life way to one of their own talking, grinning heads. Too bad they ever got a foot in the door in politics in our America. They have caused more problems with their so called "godly"and "constitutional" rhetoric. Would that they could all just disappear from the headlines once and for all.
President Obama for 2012. Let's hear him and at least be respectful of the man.

So true Mr Choudhury. They're such the obstructive treasonists. If this had been happening just 4 or 5 years ago, under a REPUBLICAN administration, this whole nation would have already risen up against them and the established status quo system would have already shut this obstrution down. People would have already been going to prison for treason against the government.
