POTUS' Day Ahead: Meeting with a king; hat-tipping World Series winners; first lady's birthday

President Obama is back to a heavy schedule Tuesday after largely laying low on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  In the morning the president convenes a meeting with his council on Jobs and Competitiveness where it is expected he will make remarks to the press.

Later, the president meets with King Abdullah of Jordan in the Oval Office.  There both leaders are expected to make public comments.

Then, President Obama and the first lady welcome the 2011 World Series winning St. Louis Cardinals to the East Room of the White House.  There, it's like the president will work in a plug for his favorite baseball team, the Chicago White Sox.

Finally, the first lady celebrates her 48th Birthday today.  The press corps. will be on watch for any special and unscheduled events the president has up his sleeve to mark the day.
