THIS PROVES THAT THE ONLY THING OBAMA IS GOOD AT IS SEPARATING PEOPLE FROM THEIR HARD EARNED MONEY ... AND, THEN SQUANDERING IT.

YOU'RE PROOF THAT THE GOP IS QUITE GOOD AT SEPARATING PEOPLE FROM THEIR BRAINS AND SQUANDERING IT. ALTHOUGH I WONDER IF THERE MUCH TO WASTE IN YOUR CASE.

Oh, he squandered the money. It's called a DONATION!!! How ignorant are you? At least he's not "FIRING" people and enjoying it like that flip flopping candidate that you will vote for!

Again yesterday BO had yet another high profile bill voted down BY HIS PARTY!!! I am sure he will try to blame the repubs for the dems voting down his bill. I am also sure some stupid dems will think he is telling the truth when he says it (over and over again).

well...it has been said a new sucker is born every day... you leftys (not democrats anymore) never wake up. It looks like France is going back to the left (as if they ever really were conservative) and pulling for the Socialist, who recently said "Germany had better realize they can not survive as an island of prosperity in the EU"... obama and company feel the same way about the higher earners in America. The problem with this sort of thinking is it is false and divisive and it brings in the vote...actually works...destroys economies and countries but it works. Nothing new about history except for what you have not yet learned, yourself. You marxist will eventually get your way...and you wont like it then either. Nothing fun about standing in food lines with your hands in your pockets waiting for someone to help you....while you govenours live in luxury and ration out your life for you. We know about this...lived in communist Romania for 30 years prior to 1989... God help you...that is while you can still have a God to worship!

Why is it conservatives still believe that trickle down economics work? Didn't 8 years of junior teach you anything? Numbers don't lie, during the Bush administration there was no economic growth only decline. Jobs were lost at alarming rates, and the tax cuts for the "job creators" went into foreign bank accounts not new jobs here in the US. Even gas prices went to over $4 a gallon for a time. Considering the mess this country was in I think the Obama administration has done an admiral job. Again, numbers don't lie. Unemployment is going down, jobs are being created and the economy is getting better. If the far right fails in November to limit President Obama to a single term what will be there excuse for 4 more years of growth? I'm hoping for a clean sweep in November, total control, sweeping changes to the tax system. It's nice to think about but we all know it'll be the same crap, different day where congress is concerned. Oh, what exactly does God have to do with it? Last time I checked he was out of the race.

      April 17, 2012 at 10:20 am |
      • Steveo

Would you agree there was economic growth under Clinton? Wasn't trickle down economics in effect then? You guys are touting growth under Obama yet trickle down is in effect now! Your arguement is confused!

        April 17, 2012 at 10:39 am |
      • Teresa

So everything the Clinton Administration did was really all because Reagen and Bush set it all in motion? That would mean that everything that happened in the Bush II administration was a direct result of the Clinton Administration? Don't you see the flaw in that argument?

        April 17, 2012 at 11:46 am |
      • Steveo

There is no flaw in this arguement! if my arguement was flawed, please explain why after almost 3.5 years of Obama in office is Bush still getting blamed! The policies of one administration affects following administrations, unless overturned!

        April 17, 2012 at 12:00 pm |
      • Teresa

Bush is blamed for policies that lead to the greatest economic downturn this country has experienced since the great depression. Since President Obama's policies have been put into effect we've seen a turn around. So Rove Troll, go spew somewhere people actually believe what you spew.

        April 17, 2012 at 4:08 pm |
      • Steveo

Whether you realize it or not, The dot.com bubble was starting to deflate under Clinton AND so was the housing bubble. Secondly, apparently you have no argument left as you resorted to calling names! Congratulations!

I just know a Rove tactic when I see it. Turn your weakness into you opponents weakness. Romney spends years in France and speaks the language fluently, Obama was educated in a foreign land so he has European values. How does a 6-10 year old develope foreign values going to a christian school, St Francis of Assisi? While an 18 to 20 year old avoids serving in the military in Vietnam by going to France on a mission that was useless since the area was predominantly Catholic. Romney is a flip flopper of astronomical proportion, his latest flop is that stay at home mothers work hard too. Back in January they should know the dignity of a full days work, so put those kids in daycare and get out there and work. There is no defense on that one. So anyone that's read enough, watches enough of Rove's tactics sees right through you. The GOP is weak on womens rights, weak on foreign policy, weak on middle class america. The only thing they are strong on is going to war and giving huge tax breaks to there bankers....backers you choose. So yes I called you a Rove troll because you are one.

        -------
That's nice. Do you have a nice nick name for your deflection? The topic was deferments for Romney AND Biden! Obama's lack of service was not part of that equation!

btw, since when is Indonesia a part of Europe?

I find it interesting and great that most donations come from average citizens. Nice to know that we have a voice and the campaign is not being dominated by a few rich guys. Jerry keeps talking about france in all his posts. What has that got to do with campaing contributions,? Why are republicans so negitive, their guy is raising money too?. He could just use his own. Everyone needs to send in their donations I send a small one in every month. and I think my brains are as good as the next guy. Obama 2012

Or is Jerry just reminding everyone where Gov. Romney spent his time instead of Vietnam like most young men of that era?

      April 17, 2012 at 10:23 am |
      • Steveo

Does it bother you that Biden didn't go either? He receieved more deferments than Romney!

        April 17, 2012 at 10:41 am |
      • Teresa

it bothers me that Romney choose to flee the country instead of getting a deferment. His family could afford to hide him in France. It also bothers me that Bush paid someone to do his guard duty. There are a lot of things politicians do that bother me, question is why doesn't it bother you?

        April 17, 2012 at 11:37 am |
      • Steveo

Huh? A little research wil reveal Romney got student deferments just like Biden did!

I will be donating. It is not that I dislike Romney....because I don't...he is more liberal than Obama. It is that I so distrust and dislike the Republican Party...the party leadership is bigots and money hoarding psychopaths that are more concerned about my bedroom than they are their own souls.

It is interesting....McCain ran as a Republican and NOT as himself and he lost. Romney will also run as a Republican and not as himself and he too will loose.

you would be funny if you were not so dangerous. And, I guess you trust Ried, Pelosi...and those nut casees right? And yes, obama who stands in front of you with half truths and outright lies and wispers to the Russias...is that right?

well... Dick Cheney after over 40 years serving at the national level....knows unmitigated disasters when he sees them....and believe it or not so do most thinking real Americans....and Real Americans know phony Americans when they see them...ie, barack hussein obama.

In order to try and convict someone wouldn't you actually have to have CHARGES? Are you saying the federal government had something but failed to act? If that is what you're saying somebody in the needs to get fired for ineptitude. Wouldn't you agree? Otherwise it is the same ole corruption, is it not?

Why would Republican's purge their moderates and embrace the Tea Party if they were just going to nominate Romney anyway,it's all rather queer.

    April 17, 2012 at 10:40 am |
    • Steveo

Excellent question! Neither party are very tolerant of moderates. As far as Romney, he may be the best candidate of the group! As far as purging moderates, the dems pretty much kissed the Blue Dogs good bye! Again neither partiy is very fond of moderates!
