Biden to take aim at Bain

(CNN) – The Barack Obama campaign is dispatching Vice President Joe Biden to eastern Ohio Wednesday to push the president's economic record and take direct aim at presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney's history as a venture capitalist.

In a speech at M7 Technologies, an advanced manufacturing plant in Youngstown, Ohio, Biden will add new emphasis to the attack on Romney's tenure at Bain Capital that the Obama campaign has waged all week.

"In the 1990s, there was a steel mill in Kansas City, Missouri," Biden will say, according to advanced remarks of the speech distributed by the Obama campaign. "It had been in business since 1888. Then Romney and his partners bought the company. Eight years later it went bankrupt

During the 2012 campaign, the securities and investment industry has donated nearly $10 million to the DNC, or about 10 percent of the total it has raised, and only about $4.5 million to the Republican National Committee.

President Obama last night spent time at the Park Avenue apartment of Blackstone Group (BX) president Tony James, to press the Wall Street flesh and collect $35,800 per plate.
Can ANY LIB tall us why Dimon is no good, but Tony James is? Even you lib supportes of this administration have to see the hypocrisy in this...
The hit list now includes Romney supporters, Joe Appaio, JP Morgan, Anti-Obama care states, anti-Obama immigration states, and many more I am sure. I assume these cases are costing us millions thanks to the biggest political hack this country has ever seen, Holder.
But wait – here is the big one, Uncle Omar, Obama's illegal uncle, actually got his license back. This was after he was arrested for drunk driving. Somehow this illegal has a SS Card. He lives in MA. You may think this is unusual, but not so much. Obama's aunt Zatuny, who was also living in this country illegally, collecting "entitlements", including free rent, is now legal.

joe is a good guy who people on the east coast like. He is one of them and is an asset to the Obama Campaign. Even when he goofs it is just honest Joe and when he takes a jab at baine it is because it is true. Hes been around long enough to know a lot about the way the senate and congress runs. He also knows the players. Go get them Joe Bain is a problem for romney let everyone know what a vulture he really is.

"joe is a good guy who people on the east coast like. Hes been around long enough to know a lot about the way the senate and congress runs. He also knows the players."
If this is the standard to be 2nd in command we are in trouble.
BTW, you do know Romney left Bain years before they are talking about on Obama's commercial. Does that matter to you? The fact that Obama put these people out there talking bad about Bain and making it appear like Romney was still working there is typical from this administration.

@john,Romney was legally CEO of Bain well after 2001,check your facts...And Bain alone didn't resurrect all these corporations alone, also check your facts, not Staples,Sports Authority, not of them,do some reading, there's more players involved than Romneys letting on,he's trying to get all the credit,he's wrong!!Typical republican spin on things, that's all...

@John ...you act as if Zimmerman's doctor has already been cross examined...isn't that cherry picking only what you want to believe? The report also states that Zimmerman was taking Adderall and Temazepam while out with a loaded gun on a Neighborhood Watch detail, when it is a known fact that neighborhood watch groups prohibit those on duty from carrying guns.

The media overlooks most of Biden’s misstatements. No articles on Monday morning reported on his gaffes. No breathless network news anchors tagging him for his misstatements. So far, not one single White House reporter is on record badgering the White House to defend Mr. Biden’s statements.

Maybe the press treats Mr. Biden so because he is such a serial gaffe generator that holding him to account would tax their abilities. Or maybe they excuse him because he’s “just good old Joe” not to be held to the same high standard as a republican. But to let such a stellar display of misstatements and fabrications go by without comment speaks volumes about Joe and our collaberating nerws networks.

Today the Justice Dept announced they are opening an investigation on JP Morgan Chase. I am sure it had nothing to do with Dimon speaking up against Dodd Frank, which BTW, did not fix this problem. We also hear today that the "green initiative" is approaching 100 billion dollars. Maybe the justice dept shoud investigate the green initiative and see how much of OUR MONEY has been trashed by this administration. We know about Solindra and several others. How about Fast and Furious? No investigation there???

@John,get your facts straight,FAST AND FURIOUS was initially started by Bush and as usual Pres.Obama is getting held responsible for your republican presidents mistakes. Also yes Solandra cost us some money, how bout the trillions that Bush cost us with his Iraq war,any come backs!Pres.Obama also just recently put new tariffs on solar panels being imported because of their under pricing efforts in China, constantly changing their currency rates, right!!!!How also can you stem the tide monitarily speaking when your republicans say "no" to everything being fiscally "conservatives",when passing a military increase from the tax payer. Can you say CONSERVATIVE in a sentence, like I gave away money to someone that'll never pay me back, isn't that conservative. Why don't you look up these facts how your republican idol Romney took a bailout of 10 million dollars, while at Bain, not from TARP,but from Bush and FDIC ,Bain hasn't paid any of it back, nice presidencial material, right!!And if I know,ya know the incumbent surely does too.Have a nice day guys, reading dirt on Romney is fun and easy!!

Congratulations to Vice President Biden for bringing attention to the recent Bain Capital advertisement on GSI industries and Romney-style, you're own your own, I won the lottery of life and the rest of you just have to work harder-style-capitalism.

The point of this important advertisement is not the particulars of GSI industries. Come November, nobody is going to remember the particulars of GSI industries, although my heart goes out to the poor workers who were laid off by the company of the man of a thousand flip-flops. The point of this advertisement is to make sure the American people are aware of these facts: (1) the goal of Bain Capital was never to create jobs, it was to make as much money as possible, with no concern for the workers that had to be stepped on to accomplish that goal; (2) Bain Capital very often loaded companies up with debt, which actually made it harder for them to succeed, but easier for Bain Capital executives to find places to withdraw management fees for themselves and which is especially interesting at a time when Romney is criticizing Obama for bankrupting the country, and (3) Bain Capital executives took out management fees even when they FAILED to turn the company around.

So, when the man of a thousand flip-flops tries to fool the American people with the help of Wall Street financed Super Pac attacked ads by talking in vague generalities about his time in the private sector as a "conservative businessman," the American people won't be remembering, don't need to be remembering and should not be remembering the particulars of GSI industries, but for the sake of this country, I truly hope they remember that "conservative businessman" is Romney-speak for loading companies up with debt, taking out management fees despite failure and maximizing profits without concern for average Americans.

Your liberal friends just made you look like an idiot. The commercial you refer to was inaccurate. Romney left Bain before Bain was involved with the plant they talk about on the commercial.
It actually would not surprise me if this administration knew Romney wasn't @ Bain at the time and ran the commercial anyway. They knew libs and people like you would simply take the commercial as the truth. It is typical from this administration.

If we have to look at this country four years ago today can you remember? I think I recall banks and big business closing their doors and filing for bankruptcy. I also remember president George W. Bush not caring about the leader of terrorism and the republicans telling the Americans it's best if your automotive companies close and banks close and restructure. When are you morons going to wake up. Now the only candidate that the republicans can stand behind restructures, eliminates, and closes businesses. He passed mandatory health care in Massachusetts and apposed the same plan the President tried to pass. Anyone in their right mind should be able to see problems with this guy now. If you vote for Romney your voting for liquidation of America. Anyone can give up close the door when things look bad as liquidators tend to do. It takes more work to save a failing economy than Mittens Romney has to offer. We can change as long as you know that there is an American that cares. Stand up America because I think I know you care. Romney's restructuring would never have worked on a national wide scale, it would have cascaded into worldwide depression. Look at the many small businesses that work for one large company. Four years ago when banks were closing how many small businesses would have been able to stay open if that big company had to Restructure. It would have never worked any economic experience person could tell you honestly the whole world would have collapsed. Look back at the great depression and see how it affected the entire world. Think its bad now vote for Romney you will see how bad it will gets.

Mitt had a real job. Obama was a community organizer.
Banks are still in trouble. We are about to get into another budget battel because all the dems and Obama know is tax and spend. We have lost BILLIONS by this administration picking "winners" and Franny and Freddy are worse now. Also, Obamacare is about to be voted down leaving us a mess with our healthcare system, not to mention the thousands of IRS agent that were already hired that will need to be delt with. People do care about America. That is why Obama needs to go and Romney needs to get in. We need to stop the insanity.

@john,Bush left us in debt 6.5 trillion,Pres.Obama has spent about 4trillion righting the ship, the same ship that Bush sunk, remember. The health care bill,ACA,is why the health insurance business is in trouble,ya know why their days as legitimate thieves are over, there'll be guide lines and people won't be stuck with policies that don't work for them and costing more than they can afford.Bush didn't do anything but screw this country up and the new sheriff in town,Pres.Obama was sent in to clean up,once again a republicans mess.Republicans want tax breaks, what about the breaks that moron gave ya for 8 years, did ya save any of it,I bet not..We have to pay on the monumental debt Bush got us into, that's why the incumbents been fighting with your hypocritical reps on Capital Hill,to recoup some that money Bush gave away for both terms, all 6.5 trillion of it.Remember two unfunded wars,Medicare Part D,tax breaks especially the 1% ers.You republicans think money grows on trees,Boehner and his fake store bought tan thinks so.Ya,he'll be gone in November,so will a lot of your republican hypocrites on Capital Hill, just wait,I can hear ole Boehner cryin, why me,why me,I did a good job, didn't I!!!
