Obama pushes back on welfare attacks, addresses controversial Priorities ad

(CNN) – President Barack Obama responded to a controversial ad from an outside group backing his presidential campaign while pushing back on Republican claims that his administration would drop the work requirement from welfare-to-work programs, in an unannounced appearance in the White House Briefing Room Monday.

Asked about the ad created by a pro-Obama super PAC, Priorities USA Action, which linked presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney to the death of a steelworker's wife during his tenure at Bain Capital, Obama said that he does not think that Romney is responsible for the woman's death.

Mr. Obama ... how about doing the job you were elected to ... America is badly damaged, due to your failed policies ... America needs a leader, not someone who is desperately trying to hold onto power, at all costs.
If you truly love America, step aside, and allow Mr. Romney and Mr. Ryan to repair all the damage you have done.

AWWWW, I CAN ALMOST SEE TEARS IN HOWARD'S EYES. THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL MAN.

SERIOUSLY, SO YOUR SOLUTION IS TO PUT A COUPLE OF OBVIOUS LIARS IN THE WHITE HOUSE. A LIE THAT EVEN NEW GINGRICH COULDN'T SPIN HIS WAY OUT OF. I GUESS THAT'S GOOD ENOUGH FOR REPUBLITARDS. MOST AMERICANS DISAGREE.

  2. Paul Ryan Rape Kit

Romney and Ryan have been caught lying about welfare, now they have been called out. Romney now has a bigger problem in the Paul Ryan-Todd Akin Forcible Rape Bill. Romney should kick Ryan off the ticket now and pick Ron PaUL .
nobody would even notice because Romney flip flops so much. Bye Bye Romney!!!

Anyone who believes his reelection campaign had nothing to do with this ad, also believes that the"they'll put y'all back in chains" was a gaffe by VP Biden, David Axelrod picked the right ones to keep his Chicago style campaign going.
