Apparently this the reason CNN even went there, it sure wasn't to report news.

Regular folks left out in the rain while Hollywood bought front row seats. So much for looking out for the middleclass.., literally.

Dimwit: The tickets were free and on a first come first serve bases. That's why we call it FACT checking!

Hero worhship is disgusting, especially coming from a so-called independent media source.
Clinton was right, its an embrassment to the constitutional rights our forefathers fought for.

CNN did the same for the Republicans so quit your complaining "Kool-Aid Police" and "demwit".

The truth must be told about Mitt Romney and his tax cheating ways. He hides his money in the Cayman Islands to avoid paying taxes and claims 77,000 tax deduction for a horse. Is this fair?

    Obama / Biden 2012

How about the truth about your messiah and his hard, hard left beliefs? Sheesh, he even removed God and Jersusalem from the platform. Obama thinks he is god and wants all to worship the state because afterall like the Dem ad said, "we all belong to government".

Yes Lionel, a man who gives up his inheritance and donates 19 percent of his income has every reason to hide his money from the government. This, of course, versus Biden, a man who donates less than 1 percent.

According the sources other than Fox News Romney gave 16% over a 2 year period. but then with 250,000,000 in estimated wealth he has a lot more than Joe Biden's 379,035 income for 2011 to give from. It also looks like percentage wise the Vice President paid a larger overall percentage of his income in federal and state taxes.

jean2009, so if you compare the income in one year as you do with VP Biden, then what is the %.

SO WHY DOES HE HAVE TAX SHELTERS IN THE CAYMAN ISLANDS AND SWITZERLAND? WHY IS HE PAYING SUCH A LOW RATE COMPARED TO WAGE EARNERS AND MANY OF HIS FELLOW MILLIONAIRES? WHY IS HE SO AFRAID TO REVEAL THE REST WHEN HIS OWN FATHER HAD SET THE STANDARD FOR TELLING THE WHOLE STORY?

Just because Harry Reid and the democrats tell you so, does not make it the truth, same with Harry Reid who makes money as a pimp and has his money offshore so he WON'T have to pay taxes on it.

        September 8, 2012 at 1:15 pm |
      • DEcember 2012

WHAT DOES HARRY REID HAVE TO DO ABOUT ANYTHING? THESE ARE ALL THINGS WE ALREADY KNOW ABOUT ROMNEY. TRY NOT TO TRIP ON FACTS EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE.

LMAO you must be one giant sucker to believe an investigation by a man who made clear bias statements before he started it...then followed it up by selectively choosing the witnesses. Im sure you overlooked the fact that Issa's "whistle blower" was in fact the man responsible for letting the guns walk WITHOUT HIS SUPERVISOR'S PERMISSION! But hey, dont believe me believe the facts!

The left needs to stop complaining about wanting to get taxedd more and actually just pay more. Why do you have to be forced (Your freedom taken away)? If you know it's "right" then do whats right democrats, for once.

I like dealing in numbers and facts...so here are a few.
Did you know there has always been unemployment? Our country has truly never had full employment, and probably never will in a mobile society. However, in 2001 when George W. Bush took office there were 6 million unemployed people, by August of 2003 that number had increased to 9 million, and by September of 2007 it had increased another 2 million. In January 2009 before President Obama took office it was at 12 million unemployed. In the first 9 months of President Obama's presidency (which was still under the Bush budget which was all of 2009) 3.9 million more jobs disappeared. Unemployment peaked at 15.6 million in October of 2009. Since then the numbers have continually declined. Not as fast as everyone wishes...but progress is being made. According to statistic today approx. 12.5 million people are unemployed....which is less than the end of the first 9 months of 2009 which was under the Bush budget. These numbers are from the IPR Corporation website, which is an international planning and research company. (The article online was written by John B. Hagen)
Numbers are facts. Dates are facts.
    Obama-Biden 2012!

So based on your "facts" both Bush and Obama failed us...time for a change to a true conservative

Jean, jean, jean, you count 100% of President Bush's term and then some? By your definition then the first 4 years of President Bush's presidency would be because of Clinton.

If you want the facts then check out the Department of Labor's website. They have the official figures.
      http://data.bls.gov/pdq/SurveyOutputServlet

In August 2003 the unemployment rate was 6.1%
In September 2007 the unemployment rate was 4.7%

during President Bush there were some terrific years. People like Jean do not want to face the facts, they distort the truth. The funny thing is that they are just making fools of themselves. Anyone in the world can check out the true numbers. Jean is still living in a time when she could lie to people directly. The world is laughing at Jean. They all know that she drank the cool-aid.

Democratic Senate candidate Bob Kerrey said Thursday that he hates the employer mandate in the Affordable Care Act and that his own businesses might drop employee insurance and pay the federal fine for doing so if the mandate goes into effect in 2014.

Jean2009, of course everything is Pres.Bushes fault, the democrats running the senate and the house had nothing to do with it, senator Obama who became the champion of Filibusters is innocent.

So Eva Longoria and Scarlett Johansson spoke about free birthcontrol and womens right to choose, why don't both of them put in a million each and all the birthcontrol would be FREE to everyone.

Calm down Lizzie. We get it, you are not a feminist and are OK with health care insurance covering Viagra, just not contraception. But the rest of us who are not hysterical over an mixed President in the White House, see the logic in equality. And American Celebrities have just as much right as Rich Business people, to participate in our democracy.

These people are so stupid. The Democrats convention was a total failure. They couldn't even ratchet the votes to add God and Jerusalem back into their platform – after 3 tries! – so they ignored their delegates and did it anyway. The real question is, they took it out to begin with. That's the message that needs to be heard. Think about that. Then their fearless leader, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz flat out LIED and got caught – AGAIN! The leader of their party is a LIAR. And then little miss Fluke gets up and lets everyone know how much they love her. If these celebrities think that is something to to celebrate, I feel sorry for them. They aren't celebrities – they are trash.
