POTUS's schedule for 9/11 anniversary

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama mark the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon with solemn events today. He and the first lady started the morning with a moment of silence at 8:46, the moment the first plane hit the first building of the World Trade Center. Later this morning, he and Mrs. Obama will travel to the Pentagon to participate in the remembrance ceremony there. He'll lay a wreath and give remarks. Then rest of this afternoon, he'll be visiting wound troops at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. That visit will be away from cameras but he'll return to the White House this afternoon for a meeting with Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta. Vice President Biden is in Shanksville this morning, participating in that ceremony.
