Washington (CNN) – The White House continued to make its case for extending tax cuts for middle class Americans Friday, this time aided by the positive November jobs report.
Alan Krueger, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, said the report, which showed the economy added 146,000 jobs in November and unemployment inched down to 7.7%, is further evidence of a positive employment trajectory in the United States. He also encouraged support for President Barack Obama’s plan to ensure tax rates for the majority of Americans do not go up at the end of the year.

Davenport, Iowa (CNN) – New details of President Barack Obama's plans for a second term were given in an off-the-record interview with the Des Moines Register Tuesday but made public only after the paper protested that leaving it private would be a disservice to Iowa voters.
The interview was conducted Tuesday but made public Wednesday after the Obama campaign gave permission to the paper releasing them from their off-the-record agreement.

Delray Beach, Florida (CNN) – President Barack Obama evaluated his debate performance on Tuesday, the morning after his last showdown with Gov. Mitt Romney, and ramped up his "Romnesia" rhetoric, saying Romney's performance Monday night put him at "stage three."
At a rally in battleground Florida the president said Romney shifted his positions on the war in Afghanistan, the war in Iraq and his commitment to taking down Osama bin Laden.

Tampa, Florida (CNN) – Reggie Love, the man by President Barack Obama's side for two years in the White House, said the president plays basketball like he leads.
In an exclusive interview with CNN Chief White House Correspondent Jessica Yellin, Love said the president is a competitor above all else.

Washington (CNN) – With 75 days left until Election Day, Team Obama's top ranks said Thursday they're encouraged by the campaign's standing among key voting constituencies, including women, African Americans, Latinos and younger members of the electorate.
At a briefing for reporters, senior campaign officials pointed to a consistent lead in national polling as well as a sufficiently favorable view of the president among undecided voters to argue the real story of the general race is one of consistency, not volatility.
