POTUS schedule November 30, 2010

President Obama said he hopes his meeting with GOP and Democratic Congressional leaders Tuesday “will mark a first step towards a new and productive working relationship.”  Issues looming large include extending the expiring Bush-era tax cuts and ratifying the New Start arms reduction treaty.  Neither side expects any agreement will result in this hour or hour-and-a-half-long meeting, but Robert Gibbs said he hopes this gathering is the “beginning of a longer-term conversation” and will lead to action by the end of this year.  The meeting that was informally dubbed the “Slurpee Summit” will take place behind closed doors at 1030 a.m.  If any leaders choose to come to stakeout after the meeting, CNN will be there to cover it.

In the afternoon, at 430 p.m., President Obama will meet with Defense Secretary Robert Gates (closed).  They will surely discuss the Pentagon report on gays in the military that Gates will be sharing with members of Congress and discussing at a news conference earlier in the day.

Oh, how funny! I don't remember us ever getting a PRESIDENTIAL SCHEDULE before! We certainly didn't know where they were going and what they were doing by the hour! You must have forgotten to enter his lunch and bathroom breaks to the schedule! Those events also fall under the TRANSPARENT CRITERIA of 'need to know'; YOU KNOW! MY GOODNESS, YOU MEDIA LUNATICS ARE HARRASSING THIS PRESIDENT TO NO END AND I DON'T SEE HOW HE CAN KEEP TAKING SUCH BLATANT, BIASED DISRESPECT! IT WILL BE STOPPED! ONE DAY! SOME WAY!

The problem is that Obama does not want to play fair; we wants to get the job done quickly without concern of anyone else's needs. This is only part of the reason the Tea Party was formed. Furthermore, if you have ever heard, attitudes are contagious; Obama's approach is effecting others to think they have to play on his level. On the outside, it makes everyone in power look like the bad guys! On the inside, people are just stressed out by Obama. The only question is whether anyone can work by it, or do the politicians not want to feel under someone's thumb?

THEY CERTAINLY DID WORK UNDER THE THUMBS OF BUSH AND CHENEY! AND PRESIDENT OBAMA DOES HIS LEVEL BEST TO PLAY FAIR! POLITICIANS DON'T WANT TO PLAY FAIR WITH HIM OR GIVE HIM THE SAME SUPPORT THAT'S BEEN GIVEN TO PAST PRESIDENTS! MANY POLITICIANS AND VOTING AMERICANS ARE IN BIG DENIAL, BUT THEY STILL BELIEVE THAT ALL A BLACK MAN'S CAPABLE OF DOING FOR THEM IS SHINING THEIR SHOES AND BEING THEIR SUBORDINATES! 'WE AREN'T GONNA LET THAT 'BOY' TELL US WHAT TO DO'! 'HE'S GONNA DO WHAT WE SAY DO'! THAT'S BOTTOMLINE!
