Gibbs: Obama used 'stubborn willpower' to stop smoking

(CNN) – The president may have kicked his smoking habit once and for all. It has been about nine months since the president's last cigarette, according to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

In an interview on CNN's "State of the Union," Gibbs said he still chews Nicorette, but that the president used "stubborn willpower" to stop.

Obama smoked marijuana and had no problem stopping that. Ban nicotine. Legalize marijuana. Problem solved

Good for him. I also quit during my last deployment in Iraq. I hope he did it for himself, and not just to please the public rejects who keep trying to tell everyone else how to live. Hang in there, sir!
