It's a superbowl party. This is not everyday food, but a party. Nothing wrong with party food in moderation and I think that's the message that our first lady is trying to get across. She said desert is not a right, not that you should never have treats. I'm glad people weren't so mean to Laura Bush. I would have been ashamed of that kind of behavior toward our first lady, just like you should be ashamed now.

As far as First Lady Laura Bush, Liberals vilified and made fun of her accent. Do a search on google images and you will find pictures of her as a monkey, and even worse hung in effigy. Look on youtube and you can find a 2007 video 'We hate Laura Bush' a vulgar song. 100s of videos calling her stupid and degrading. You should be ashamed of that kind of behavior toward our first lady, all Liberals should be ashamed.

Difference is, Laura Bush was a gracious, elegant, & classy First Lady. She didn't step off Airforce One in shorts even though at her age she would look better than Michelle. Laura Bush was recently caught on video- by CNN- bragging about her "firm thighs" and saying that Michelle Obama's thighs "are not in the same league". How classless.

LeRoy, gas isn't heading towards $5 a gallon, unemployment is at its lowest in three years and the entire Middle East isn't "aflame" because it consists of more than Iraq, Afghanistan and Egypt. Try reading a map once in a while, just make sure you don't use the FoxNews maps because they think Egypt is where Iraq is and Iraq isn't in the Middle East.

It's just a chosen 'project' of the FIRST LADY to work towards inciting AMERICANS to a deeper consciousness of enacting a 'healthier living' lifestyle, along with good eating choices! However, since I wasn't there, I don't know what SHE was munching on; but I do know this, many AMERICANS fall off diets, and splurge a little bit at parties! SO WHAT? You just get back on the wagon, afterwards! I don't think she was making YOU that suggestion; YOU can just keep on eating what you want to eat! OK? Best wishes!
I am on a Smart Heart diet myself and you can actually eat those items at times but not on a regular basis. You can get sausage that is turkey based and is really good, extra lean beef for burgers with low fat cheese, dips made with yogurt, yogurt ice cream. There is nothing wrong with having a few chicken wings or a small piece of pizza. I have never felt deprived.
Unbelievable, oh nope wait a minute it's Bozo and his wife so it is quite believable tell the rest of the country what they should and should not be eating as you lay out a very unhealthy spread according to your statements. Liz, never said that I like President Bush, just do not like it when some tells lies about him. I have always made it clear that he should not have started the wars, however I will defend his legal right to do so. I also believe that he did not create the economic problems that we enjoy today. But now it is Barry's time in the sun. Every day I just visit CNN and see one more reason for his unelection.
