POTUS Schedule for February 9, 2011

The President spends the day away from the cameras, but is sure to have plenty to talk about when he hosts House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor, and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy. At his briefing on Tuesday, Robert Gibbs said he expected both domestic and foreign policy issues to be discussed, with a heavy focus on the economy and spending. Gibbs said the president would also talk through many of the things he discussed in the State of the Union while also discussing the cares and concerns of his guests as well. While all events are closed to press coverage, here is a look at the president's schedule as released by the White House:

10:15AM THE PRESIDENT and THE VICE PRESIDENT receive the Presidential Daily Briefing

10:45AM THE PRESIDENT meets with senior advisors

12:30PM THE PRESIDENT and THE VICE PRESIDENT have lunch with Speaker Boehner, Republican Leader Cantor and Republican Whip McCarthy

Private Dining Room

3:45PM THE PRESIDENT and THE VICE PRESIDENT meet with Secretary of State Clinton
