POTUS schedule for Tuesday, May 17, 2011![]() WASHINGTON (CNN) - The focus at the White House shifts to Middle East peace and diplomacy today with a visit from King Abdullah II of Jordan. President Obama will meet with the king in the Oval Office behind closed doors to discuss US-Jordan relations and the overall Arab world. The two leaders will make statements to the pool around noon. Then the president and vice president will have their weekly lunch. This afternoon, Mr. Obama will make remarks at the Jewish American Heritage Month reception in the East Room of the White House.
