Dempsey in as Joint Chiefs Chairman

CNN's Ed Henry and Barbara Starr report that President Obama on Monday will announce the nomination of Army Gen. Martin Dempsey to replace Adm. Mike Mullen as Joint Chiefs Chairman, according to a source familiar with the plans.

Obama will also name Adm. James Winnefeld, the current head of the U.S. Northern Command, to serve as vice chairman, according to the source.
