CNN's Dan Lothian reports on the latest unemployment numbers and Americans' continuing struggle to find work. This story first aired on CNN's The Situation Room.
I was very put off after hearing Wolf and Dan Lothian's comments, 6/4/11, regarding the unemployment rate increase. Dan said it was a "big problem" for Obama, since only 54,000 or so jobs were created, instead of the estimated 170,000. How can you say a 0.1 percent increase in the unemployment rate is a problem for Obama. That's ridiculous. Once again, Wolf Blitzer has omitted other factors in his reporting. How can you put the pressure on Obama for the unemployment rate increase, when we've experienced some of the worst weather and flooding in decades. Surely, these factors are more relevant to this increase than Mr. Obama. Congress should share the blame for this increase. If our public servants would actually serve the public, instead of their own agendas and earmarks, perhaps businesses would feel for comfortable adding new jobs. I'm just sayin"
