I'll answer your question with a few questions of my own:

-Where was Osama bin Laden two and a half years ago?
-Were we posting monthly job losses or gains two and a half years ago?
-If you had a pre-existing condition, would you have been denied coverage, two and a half years ago? And today?
-How many combat troops were in Iraq? And today?
-Could Chrysler afford a Superbowl ad two and a half years ago?
-Is 5.7% inflation better (peak amount in 07/08) or 3.57% (current peak inflation)?
-If you were gay, would you hesitate to sign up for the military two and a half years ago? Now?
-And would you rather banks mail out massive "pre-approved" credit as they did two and a half years ago, or keep their cards close as they do now?

If you want to turn these advances back (well, aside from OBL), then by all means vote Republican.

Yes we are better off than we were 2 and a half years ago! We are still here; hanging on but still here. Some mortgages were revised; some people have found jobs, some people have now have medical coverage, GM was saved, even Wall Street was bailed TARPED and bailed out! Had he not done these things, you would have really been complaining! You would have really questioned his decisionmaking! OBAMA stopped the 'free fall' didn't he? He did most of it without any help nor the encouragement from the RIGHT!

What planet are you from? Mars? Because it isn't earth! I wonder what you look like. Probably one of those little marshens we see in the movies. Those are the morons that would vote for Obama because he looks more like them then us.

You are the type of person that is obviously stupid. Why don't you and your right wings cooks move and b*tch and bicker among yourselves. There is no wonder this country is messed up. And just because you suck and your life is a disappointment, you and your miserable friends and family don't have to sent on the sideline and spew hate, like Rush Dimbaugh and Sean Insanity. When will you fools realize they tell you want to think while taking your money. Let me guess, you wish the idiot 1/2 term quitting governor Palin would run for president, and that shows exactly how shallow and non-intelligent your are. Now, get mad drone!

Highways have been improved, health care has covered more people, we are no longer losing 2.6 million jobs like we did for 2008....which was a 26 year high for job loss. Sometimes, these things are sort of like not being able to see the forest for the trees, in hindsight when we look back on this period we will realize just how much worse it would have been without the stimulus and the bailout.

As a senior who has lived through recessions before, I have a lot of optimism about how well we are going to come out of this, and I see a bright future.

LOL!...RJ, that is funny, but grievous to say, I REALLY am from the planet EARTH; which from what I can see, is the most beautiful planet of the Universe; excepting for it's vast habitation of lingering, biggoted, racist selfish, trolls, such as yourself, who continue to spy on the blogs, with intent to berate other bloggers, personally, for their 'authentic' points of view to the questions and debates of the issues. Your post contributed nothing to the ongoing rhetoric, other than the obvious! KKK/RACISM!!

Soooo...since you evidently are from EARTH too, and I guess from your post, the USA, I wonder how you look! I bet you probably look like one of those sheet and hood wearing imps who would vote for Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck, as long as they run on the GOP ticket, simply to succeed in 'taking YOUR country back' and throwing out the one in the Whitehouse who's working hard to bring the country back in good standing here and in the world, but who may happen to look MORE like me than you! You don't want that!
