POTUS schedule Thursday June 23, 2011 After last night's announcement to drawn down 33,000 U.S. forces in Afghanistan, President Obama will fly to Fort Drum, home of the Army's 10th Mountain Division. There he will meet with Gold Star families and troops, many that have just recently returned from Afghanistan. From Fort Drum he will head to New York City for a series of 3 evening fundraisers. Barry is the one that vowed to raise $1,000,000,000. That is more than was spent on the entire 2008 election, for both sides.
I read on June 14th that the Koch Brothers plan to contribute $88 Million, Romney says he has raised $37 million. How many other candidates are out there raising funds.
Reminds me I need to contribute again.

There are two CIAs - and they are at war with each other…
There is the CIA built by John Foster Dulles – the one that overthrew governments, committed assassinations, and Lord knows what else during the 50s, 60s, and early 70s.
Then there’s the CIA reformed by Frank Church and various ‘Watergate Babies’ in the late 70s. The CIA whose sole mission is to provide accurate information for decision makers. By law, this should be the only CIA.
Unfortunately, we have seen that when the Senate Church Committee ‘reformed’ the CIA, all they did was to force the Dulles CIA further underground and into blacker budgets.
A lot we have seen in the past two years (the outing of Abu Ghraib, Plame, Sy Herch’s articles) tells me these two CIAs are at war. And here’s what’s weird: the attempt to discredit Wilson by tying him to his wife tells me that many in Washington know it and that Rove assumed that the big name reporters side with the Dulles faction.

What exactly is your problem? Have past presidents not taken part in fund raising for their re-election? What is wrong with a target of 1 billion? Its his to set. And the way citizens united has gone, the GOP will have limitless cash from god knows where. No one is stopping Mitt or Tim or John on the GOP side from setting their fund raising goals. Its up to them to set it and make it public if they so wish. Bashing the president's performances
objectively is fair game. But to go after him for fund raising is childish and immature. The same way it was immature to go after Bush when he went to Crawford. The presidency never ever leaves the person in that position. They live it 24 hrs of the day and could be yanked out of bed at midnight and asked how to retaliate against a national enemy in a few minutes.
So just chill down on Obama's fund raising.
No, I will not, as you say, chill down. 1 billion dollars is a lot of money, a lot of influence. Tonight 600 ultra rich folks are paying $38,500 a plate to meet Barry. I guess the guy that wanted to donate $20 gets lost in the crowed, does not make any difference.
What do you think they want for their $38,500, a side of fries or a photo? No, they want to buy this president. He has told the world that he is for sale.Every day he proves that he is not the president of The United States, he is the Chief Fundraiser.
