Every time Barry gets into political hot water he drags his kids out into the public. Reminds me of the movie 'Dead Zone' (1983) where a US Senatorial Candidate grabs a baby and holds him up in the air as a human shield.

The First Date looks like she is about to storm out of the room as if it was a debt meeting. Seriously, these people do not look happy. Let's do these people a favor and vote Republican 2012.

Jean, If Social Security, as you claimed, is not broke, why is Barry threatening to not send out checks?

@ Jay...yes every thing you say comes out as racist, so why would anyone assume differently.

As for President Obama stating what could could happen below is a quote from Orrin Hatch, Republican.
Quoted on an article about what happens if the government shuts down

"Mamales fears the worst, and Senator Orrin Hatch says he should.

“If we don’t make some changes, they aren’t going to get those checks anyway down the line.”

Both parties refusal to compromise over spending cuts has led to a stand-still. For now, the argument is over federal spending, but in a few years, the interest owed on the astronomical federal debt will force a shut down, and spending cuts will no longer be an option.

“We are talking about a 20 trillion dollars national debt in the next 10 years. The interest alone will be a trillion a year. The country can not sustain that,” says Sen. Hatch.

Basically...George W. Bush raided the SSI fund to pay the interest on the two unfunded wars he started with borrowed debt.

But Jean, you made it so clear that SS was fully funded and the money grew with interest. Now you claim that President Bush raided the SS fund?

A few days ago Barry said he cannot guarantee Social Security checks will go out on August 3.

it is thefirst responsibility of every
      citizen to question authority
I would ratther you jay that your name
be exposed to the inconveniences attending
too much liberty than those attending too a
      small degree of it .
jay you must know that name calling has no place in this time we live in
people will think that you are serious how can a man that loves jesus
behave so small if you disagree with our commanded and chief
you can vote for the other team
the world now knows your views
a battle lost or won is easily described understood and appreciated
but the moral growth of a great nation requires reflection
as well as observation to appreciate it .
think if you could get the attention of our cammander and chief you might want
to mine your manners he is our leader .

Sigh....the race card again.Seriously....if the GOP screamed lack of patriotism for every vulgar, revolting comment the Dems made about Bush...not every argument against this Obama Administration is automatically racist. Not everyone who voted for John McCain in 2008 and for Republicans to lead the House in 2010 run in white sheets burning crosses on Jesse Jackson`s front lawn.If racism is all they plan to campaign on next year, the GOP should have as successful year as it did last year.John Boehner isnt Speaker of the House today because there were another Klansmen to put him there...wonder what MLKJR would think of all this race-baiting...hmmm....

WOW – the hardest working president ever??? I wonder if all the two income $250,000 – million and billionaires working on the family budget as it comes time to pay for 100% of their children's upcoming college tuition (Per FAFSA calculations) have the same amount of time to spend with family and to go on vacation.

Regardless of your opinion, he is the president of the United States of America. Even though you had wanted to see a President that is jubilating on the debt default loom.

Jay's statement is deeply rooted in hatred, ignorance and narrow-mind. I'd be careful scrutinizing my statement before posting it to the public.

America is where it is today because politics has eaten so deep to the existence of man. The urgency of the situation that could have been handled exigently is often driven over by politics.

I strongly hope America will realize where her future is going.

@Jean, After all of the BS he posts against the Obamas, not to speak of the other blog lunatics negative postings, poltically and personally, Jay thinks they still ought to be jumping up and down singing the 'Hallelujah Chorus', everytime he sees a picture or video of them! If they just sat back and read his race-baited posts, which I so hope they don't, Michelle and the rest of their family, friends, associates, and constituents have a right to be angry. Yes this whole cackling circus is based in racism!

race-baited posts? Please explain to the class the word, words or phrase that I posted that is race-baited.

The reference to the movie?, well that actor is a white male. The reference to storming out of a debt meeting, Barry did abruptly walked out of the debt meeting. Do the people in the picture actually look happy to you? No, they are not. And this was the picture that they hand picked to show the world.

If you can show me that my words are racist I will never post again. Is that a deal, Liz, hear that, I will never post again, if you can show that the post is racist. Here is your chance to make me go away.

DBBowling1989s; It is racism! I don't care how much people try to diminish its' presence, it is racism pure and simple. Do you know what I think The Late Great Martin Luther King, Jr would say? I think he'd say....hmmmm...I thought they'd all made to the mountain top by now; oh well, I see we still have a lot more marching and demonstrating to do; we have a lot of writing letters and suits to do...I think we need to get Sharpton and Farrakhan on board with us this time. Now that's what I think he would say!
