POTUS' Day Ahead: Jobs in Michigan, $ in NYC

The president’s got a busy travel day today, departing on Marine One from the South Lawn at 11:25 AM and not returning to the White House until after 10 PM.

First he heads to Grand Rapids, MI where he will tour Johnson Controls Inc. – an advanced battery facility – where he will talk about the importance of new technologies in helping the auto industry create jobs, improve fuel economy and remain competitive. As Jessica Yellin reported yesterday, in the afternoon the president will head to New York City for a evening fundraiser hosted by filmmaker Harvey Weinstein.
