Hey CNN, I remember several stories on Bush's daughters when they were caught drinking. Where is the story on BO's illegal uncle, who was caught drunk driving, who had a drivers license and SS card? I wonder if this illegal voted for BO in the last election?
None of you libs can claim the media is not bias for BO. This is another prime example.
Hey libs, now BO has put you in a position where you need to defend an illegal drunk driver who has a false drivers license and SS card.

If you think CNN is a comedy show you have to watch MSN(D)BC. Al Sharpton is full time and... who in their right mind would hire a person with a lisp to be a news commentator? That is correct – MSDNC...

Ever notice how much advertising this president has purchased from CNN? They have to be biased, otherwise the ad review will go away.

Rick Perry took all kinds of crap from the lame stream media when he talked about the military disrespecting the current president. If you know a vet or someone in the military talk to them and get how they really feel.
Perry will dominate the military vote in 2012.

'Don't trust the snake'. Ooohhh! But they did trust the Bush/Cheney Regime, who put them in this fix in the first place, huh? Mainly because of their own needs for power and greed! For their own personal gains and benefits; using the guise of the hideous '911' event, and the spreading of Democracy as the reason for it all? Those people have seen how well Democracy works! They didn't want it and on top of that, early on they were setting their oil fields on fire rather than to let us take it! REMEMBER? I do!

If you believe that 'they don't want it' then why do you support this president's actions in Libya?

      August 30, 2011 at 8:02 pm |
  6. Liz Carter in Georgia

I supported this Presidents' actions in LYBIA because it started out being a mission of humanitarianism by the US/NATO. Furthermore, if I remember correctly the Lybian people were all out revolting, calling for help, the removal of Gadhafi, as well as democracy. Many of you bloggers, media pundits, McCain and Lieberman started complaining that Pres Obama wasn't sending help as soon as they thought he should've! Soon as he got UN authority, he sent the US military. You same ones complained that he did go in!

Liz, we can always find someone for and against something. The point is both Iraq and Afghanistan fell quickly. It was dealing with the chaos of war that has taken years to resolve. Libya is no different. Gadhafi could be dead today and yet mission will not be accomplished. This will be a long drawn out war just like the others.

This war, like the others was a mistake. Handing our army over to NATO control was wrong. What commander would ever relinquish control? I have lost all respect for this president.

So what if people, rebels, are in the streets asking us to come and fight their war. People are complaining about our president (35% approval rating) yet we do not ask another country to help us remove the president.

'Lost all respect'...?LOL! Jay, you've never had respect for the President! No..we haven't asked any country to come help us remove our Presidents. Why? Because we do a pretty good job of that ourselves! It's been proven over and over! Plus we live in a Democracy, not under a Dictatorship. You can spin your views about the war in LIBYA all you want..I told you how I felt about it. 'Relinquish control'? You claim we HANDED our army over to NATO, when we're an established MEMBER of NATO! That's what's wrong!

Will you please point me to one thing PRES OBAMA has said or done that shows him disrespecting America and the Constitution? Where has he undermined it, or is this just more conservative 'non-racist' jibber-jabber and contagious Foxnews spew? BTW, since you do feel the need to try to throw that accusation out at OBAMA, be careful! You might miss him and hit Dick Cheney, George Bush Condi Rice and Carl Rumsfeld in their butts!

Who's disrespecting GOD, the country and the President are you people! The intellegent world knows and sees all of this American 'Democratic' Dog & Pony Show that's been going on since the man started running for President! You people are pathetic. You are a bunch of 'supremasts' who've been so used to having your own ways, until you will reject 'change' even at the risk of hurting the rest of the citizenry; especially the middleclass and the poor! Oh yeah, whether they be black or white! They don't care!

Elaine,Good job on the bank rating blog stcoien.I like your words to ponder today! Are you suggesting that US is ceasing to grow? We blindly followed our congress and President on those WMDs!Also, I see that in 1990 Pete Rose was sentenced for tax evasion.I really dislike baseball now and don't follow it at all, very hypocritical! Although I think Pete is a jerk in a lot of ways, however, he played the game with passion and he still isn't in the Hall of Fame and he never cheated on the field. However, the baseball commissioner, players and owners have been lying and covering up steroid usage and cheating the fans for years but no ban on them. Oh well, maybe someday Pete!
