This is the perfect example of the aviators who are responsible for flying the President are doing everything possible to do the smart thing and avoid dangerous situations, where ever they occur. I applaud the Marine Corps for their response, and I applaud the President for following their advice.

This is simply a common sense response to dangerous weather and should be considered to be non-remarkable, in terms of the President's safety.

You're right, Richard. That's what they're suppose to do! It SHOULD be 'non-remarkable'! Problem is, some 'Americans' don't believe that this President SHOULD be protected as other previous ones have. God-forbid it being paid for by the use of their 'personal money'; you know, 'taxpayers dollars'; which has been coming out of the same 'coffer' for all other US Presidential securities and protections! I often questioned medias' double-standards of expectations waged against this President! I've got an idea!
