Morning Briefing: Mining for gold out west

President Obama is in full fundraising mode to begin the week, hitting seven separate events on the west coast before returning to Washington Tuesday afternoon. Media outlets are covering the glitzy events in full force, especially highlighting Lady Gaga’s quick chat with the POTUS at a private dinner Sunday night.

Meanwhile back on Washington, another government shutdown looks to be a possibility and the Washington Post does a fact check of the president’s recent trip to Cincinnati to tout his jobs plan before a crumbling bridge.

It’s all part of your morning briefing, below:

More Obama photo ops, and conning the American people out of their hard earned dollars, in order to buy the White House for another four years.

talking about buying an election what do you have to say about "straw polls" where the republican candidate who literally buys the most votes wins

Your kind of new to this political stuff aren't you? In 2007 and 2008 Barry won a couple of $25 straw polls, guess you are OK with that. The truth is both sides do this. The money often goes to a charity, or to the political party to promote their cause. It is all about who has the best organization to carry a campaign to a win.

Come on Emmy – take a look at Obama in action versus the Rep. line-up, who on earth would vote for any of these people? Obama is the ONLY way to go for the next four years, elect a Conservative rep and the country is bound to fall over the cliff.

The President released his six point plan to put Black Americans back to work.

    1) take off your bedroom slippers
    2) put on your marching shoes
    3) shake it off
    4) stop complaining
    5) stop grumbling
    6) stop crying
