Obama: 'I'm a fourth-quarter player'

 By: CNN Political Unit

(CNN) - President Barack Obama compared his re-election bid to a game of basketball, to make the point to Democratic supporters that he's a strong closer.

The president made his comments Tuesday night at the second of two campaign fundraisers inFlorida. NBA all-star Grant Hill, hall of famer Patrick Ewing and former all-star and current head coach Doc Rivers attended the event, which was held at a private residence nearOrlando,Florida.

"I was mentioning to some of the basketball players who were here that this is like the second quarter, maybe the third, and we've still got a lot of work to do. But I want everybody to know I'm a fourth-quarter player," Obama said to applause, according to a transcript of the event released by the White House.

I place my bet on the Commander in Chief. He's shown me what HE is made of. My country would have moved forward much further if the Obstructionist didn't fool America in their last election. UNELECT the Do nothing Congress in 2012

It appears you can fool some of the people all of the time.
If all of the dems voted for the so called jobs bill it would have passed yesterday. Keep telling yourself it is all the repubs fault.

The obama's are shameless self-serving cons, the mainstream media are their shills, and the American people are their marks.

Wrong office for a guy who works just 25% of the time. I'll give him credit, though. He works more than most blacks I know.

Why is it racist. Black unemployment surged to 16.7 in September 2011. Dan's comment that "He works more than most blacks I know" may be true, from his point of view.

A few months ago, Liz Carter told me that "black men work harder than white men." I don't recall you calling her a racist. I guess if you have nothing else to say call'em a racist and hope it sticks.

Obama is one of the best President ever that's why the Republicans are saying every stupid thing that comes to mind Dean.
You guys have a flip flopper, a druggie, a black man whom doesn't know he's black, Jack the Ripper and a whimp. You have one distinguished gentleman that can't get a leg up in the race at all and that's it. 'Dim Republicans.

I fully believe that the NWO will eppahn no one on this earth can say exactly when though. Personally, I want no part of it but I may not get a choice if things don't get turned around. We can't trust our government to look out for our best interests .they only want to protect their own and they have an entirely different set of values than what our constitution is about. We need a lot of help.

Obama was misquoted. He actually acknowledged: "I'm a fourth-rate player".

Why doesn’t this clown STOP campaigning and get back to DC and do something useful for a CHANGE!
