Obama sending combat troops to central Africa

President Obama has deployed combat troops to central Africa to aid in the fight against the Lord's Resistance Army. In a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner, Obama says 12 troops with "appropriate combat equipment" were deployed on October 12 and approximately 100 in total will be deployed including a second combat team and headquarters, communications and logistics personnel. The forces will provide information and advise and assist "select partner nation forces," Obama explains. The troops will not fight except in self-defense.

We're sending troops where? Africa? I made that prediction back when Obama ran for President. Next thing you know we'll be providing welfare, public housing, food stamps, etc to those in his "village" where he grew up.

Why should he bother to know what he's talking about when it is so much easier to just mindlessly rant his ideology.

If answer is yes, the Nobel Committee should explore to find a way to take back Nobel Peace Prize from President Obama. In the history of Nobel Peace Prize award not a single award was presented to a person who has not carried out any peaceful act using his authorities or human efforts. But in case of President Obama, he was given this award based on his few months of rosy speeches full of humanity, human rights and equal rights to all including resolving all the political and military issues using just, fair and peaceful means alone. But in his last 2 and half year of Presidency, rather than using fair, just and humane peaceful ways to resolve many burning international issues, public unrest and regional tension; he has issued threats of military confrontation or actually used military and inhumane and illegal drones on military and civilian targets. Under his orders, American military drones have killed many more innocent civilians than Bush-Cheney and that too all around the Globe. He thinks that being a super power, America has not to take any body's permission to kill any one he thinks and without giving due justice. It is very clear that in remaining his year and half, it will be impossible for him to change the course. He has not stopped the illegal war in Iraq but ignited more fire power and military force in Afghanistan. Also, he is ready to start another war in Iran; similar way Bush-Cheney had started Iraq war. And, ready to use American VETO in the U.N. Security Council, only to dubbed rightful and peaceful voice of 5 million Palestinians, who have been under brutal occupation.

Haven't you realized by now? Obama is a sham, packaged and marketed to sell to the liberal masses by idealistic elitist liberals who needed to get some one in office that would be a yes man and could read a teleprompter. I pity the fools who actually believe he is interested in their welfare and believes what he says. I equate him with a used car salesman only with a better suit.

It is unfortunately NOT commented on or publicly reported on, that the fact is the Corporate Government takes out insurance policies on all who are in the Armed forces. This is part of the 'release' forms signed. When any soldier dies, they make money.

WTF does this have to do with this article? I'm sorry but when a service member dies he/she doesn't make money, they are DEAD. Their families receive money, just like any other life insurance policy. There are beneficiaries. But, back to my original question. What does that statement have to do with the article?!

Chris, once again to all of you 'school children', President OBAMA was born and grew up in HAWAII with a little time spent in Indonesia! BTW, Africa is a continent! Not a country! OK? Africa is a conglumerate of many countries or nations.

    What's next ?
What did your corporate masters tell you ?
Give protection for their greedy interests in another african nation ?
You can utilize the available resources in US (read black brothers or poor soldiers) to protect the interest of US Citizens (read petrol companies)
Why don't you charge per hour instead ?
The suggestion is each US Company in Africa pays percentage of its profit to the peace keeping efforts – in that case they will not want the troops I suppose!

Obama can enjoy showing why he won the nobel peace prize for now but in a little less than 13 months Ron Paul will wipe the floor with this idiot!

The United States isn't as BROKE as 'conservatives' keep trying to claim! It's that most of the wealthy 1% are conservatives, and they intend on continuing to hoard and sit on 40% of the nations' wealth and the rest of us in the 99% have been having to try to make a living on our underpaid jobs, with some of us earning so little, RIGHT! We don't have to pay taxes! Some of us earn SO little, yes we DO meet the income criteria to be eligible for many long-standing entitlement programs. THAT IS JUST SHAMEFUL!
