McCain to Obama: Your bus is ugly

(CNN) – Sen. John McCain –a politician who has seen his share of campaign buses– had harsh words Monday for Pres. Barack Obama's choice of election transportation.

"I must say again I have never seen an uglier bus than a Canadian one," the Arizona senator said in a speech on the Senate floor Monday. "He is traveling around on a Canadian bus touting American jobs."

Senator McCain, while you might be trying to make a point by insulting the President, please remember that Canadians support the US more than any other nation out there. Yes you are a Republican and you hate Dems but please be mindful that as you tie Canadians in your insults you are throwing an friend under the bus. I know you would have preferred a Chinese bus to a Canadian one, sorry to disappoint but I thought Americans work in Canada too

McCain's bus was built by the same company that built the bus he finds ugly; Prevost, headquartered in the province of Quebec, in CANADA.

The Straight Talk Express was a Canadian bus which was customized in the U.S.

Just like the CNN Express Bus, which also was made by Prevost.

Who gives a damn. McCain need to be working on the GOP reactionary jobs bill. The Jobs bill that the Republicans should have ready to go from the day they were given control of the House. McCain confirmed that the GOP had not jobs bill and the one they presented was only a reaction to the President saying they didn't have a jobs bill. What the heck have they been doing?

That's okay, Sen. McCain...Whatever you say now, since your pres. loss, is irrevelant. You can talk all you want against our intelligent Pres Obama and it won't do you any good.

Obama;s bus is sleek, sharp and elegant as compared to your pathetic old bus you rode in on your campaign trail.
What's the matter? Are you jealous that your wife didn't supply you with a beautiful buss as Obama's is?

Actually a black bus is is sort of like a bigger Presidential limousine. John McCain other than for sour grapes...has no taste...and his "Straight Talk Express" bus was built by Prevost, as was Sarah Palin's, and Michelle Bachmann's campaign bus.

The Prevost bus may have been built in Canada, but was outfitted by Hemphill Brothers of Tennessee. As for the color, the Secret Service no doubt picked the color.... it is in keeping with the rest of their customary black vehicles.

Don't forget the CNN Express Bus; it was built by the same company. Also.

Nothing better to do than to talk about the bus the POTUS uses to campaign in, Senator? This is the reason why nobody can take the GOP seriously anymore. You waste time taking these presumed "pot shots" at the POTUS, then, when you're asked about your talking points and your opinion on how to make the country better, all you can come up with is "repeal this", "veto that" and "The President led us down this road of disaster." I have yet to hear one good, solid, concise, ORIGINAL idea from ANY GOP Candidate in the last decade and this is why.

The point is you don't start a "jobs tour" by ordering a multi million vehicle made in a foreign country. Obama also should not be adding to the deficit by forcing the Federal Govt and the taxpayers to pay for his campaign tour. He has bragged about raising $90 million. He should use his own money for his "let me keep my high perk job" campaign and not the Government's. Someone should take him to court over it; It should be illegal.

The president doesn't buy buses, the Secret Service does, and they make travel arrangement. The Secret Service purchased those buses before Obama came to office. Bush had an identical bus and the Republican nominee will get one also. It is sad how impressionable people are and that so many let themselves be manipulated by lies. I think we need to start a new movement- Get the Lies Out Of Politics and the Media- it could be called GLOOPM for short.

It is: The American Jobs Act Bus with it! G. W. Bush made a 60 day national tour out of the No Child Left Behind Act...he took office in 2001 and signed the bill into law in 2002..

Hey McCain – just can't get over losing? The little admiral that never was. An incompetent pilot who couldn't avoid being shot down. The Keating Five – who should have been removed from the Senate. Yes, an absolutely stellar example to emulate.

In Miami, Oklahoma, there is a well known bus (motor coach) manufacturer by the name of NEWELL. They build their product from the ground up. Customers include people like Roger Penske, other well known race drivers/owners and royalty from the gulf region, like kings and princes.. It would seem that the Secret Service should have known about this company, as they have been featured in the media, especially in the auto segment. They have a one year or longer waiting list, but an exception might have been made for POTUS.

Up to now, the Secret Service has been leasing buses, then having the security rigging put on the leased bus and removing it at the end of each leased period then returning the bus to its pristine condition before returning it. They say the government owning the buses (2) will be cheaper in the long term than the cost to lease buses for each trip. According to the Secret Service the practice of leasing buses costs tens of thousands of dollars each month. These buses are supposed to be in service for a period of 10 years.

Absolutely cheaper to use a bus than using a plane for each and every part of a trip. Which do you think gets the best mileage a plane or a bus. I'll bet on the bus.

THIS is what McCain wants to spend his time on?

Are the good people of Arizona ashamed of themselves yet? If not, why not?

As disappointing as has been the Obama administration, the catastrophe that would have been a McCain/Palin term is almost unimagineable.

Obama is the shepherd I did not want.
He leadeth me beside the still factories.
He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.
He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his

    party's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread

line, I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with

me. He has anointed my income with taxes,

    My expenses runneth over.
Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all

the days of my life, And I will live in a mortgaged

    home forever.
