Obama turns up in briefing room to put pressure on Boehner President Obama made a surprise appearance in the White House press briefing room Tuesday, urging House Speaker John Boehner to reconsider his decision not to hold a vote on a recent bill passed by the Senate that extends the payroll tax holiday for two more months. Even the US payroll & tax people came out against only a 2-month extension. Maybe YOU should tell the Senate that theiir "Holiday vacation" has been interrupted, and to get back to their offiices from wherever. God knows with what they're paid, they can afford a last-minute plane ticket on a commercial flight.. Or is this name-calling and the polotico as usual???
