Why is Barrack Obama leaving for a 4 million dollar trip to Hawaii, on the tax payer's expensive, when 50 percent of the country has fell bellow the poverty line under his watch. 4 million dollars is more than most American tax payers make in their lifetime. How do we have an administration that apparently cares nothing for the people that voted him in, and yet CNN doesn't publish anything about it?

Yes, the cost for travel and security will be to the American taxpayer, but that has always been the case. Protecting the President and his family goes with the job of being a taxpayer. Let me see how many trips did Air Force One make with a Secret Service detail to Crawford, Texas, and Simi Valley, California? Wonder what it costs the Russians to provide security and travel for Putin?
The president is allowed a trip home. He will be paying for the rented house and the food.
Those living below the poverty line in the Unities States for 2010 (the numbers available for the last full year) the number living in poverty was 15.1 % of the population. Which was for a family of 4 whose income was less than $22,314. Obviously there is something wrong with your Russian news source's 50%.
To put things in perspective we could say the Bush presidency cost us $11.5 trillion.
