One thing that struck me last night about the Ron Paul interview "fit", is the inability of the Repugs to just to the logical thing to get out of tight spots. He should have just said, " I was young and stupid, I no longer believe those things. I believe this now. Sorry for the past comments." Instead Paul got "Right wing dodgey" on her, and the reporter smelled blood. Yeah it might have been a lie to say he gave up his beliefs, but she might have no longer hounded him.

You're right jbird – I agree -I mean, that's like sayin that when I was young, I didn't like Mushrooms, But NOW I do.
I really don't believe when ppl talk about flip-flopping – they don't understand what it really means. When I was 18 or 20 yrs old, I thought different than I do now, since I'm 55 yrs old. Flip-floping is when you change your mind within a week, or so.
Gloria Borger's attack goes a little above and beyond the normal "pressing" that journalists should do. She is out of line in my personal opinion. No wonder she doesn't like Ron Paul – Borger's husband is big shot Washington lobbyist who is paid to influence our government to make decisions and laws that benefit whatever corporation hires him. Let's talk about that!

How many tough questions did she ask Obama in 2008. None. He got a free pass as he has for the past three years. It is real hard to figure out who the lame stream media is pulling for. Objective jounalism is dead in this country. ABC, NBC, CBS, MSDNC, and NPR are all in the tank for Obama. What about stories on the Fast and the Furious, Solyndra, Bill Ayers, and Joe Biden's smartest guy Jon Corzine? The lame stream media will not report on these stories.

Obama didn't just snatch off his mic and walk off like Ron Paul.
Are you sure you're not Doing the Fox Newsy thing here? No way you can compare Paul to the way Obama stood up to scrutiny. Ron Paul is a man scared of his past. Obama stands before the american people and explains himself.

Do you not recall Obama's address on race relations at the Lincoln Capital (? – I think). I do! No comparison with Paul snatching off the mic and walking off – right?
Believe me, no one, absolutely no one, including Ron Paul publishes a newsletter with their name on it with themselves' listed as the originator without knowing what is written in that paper. Claiming amnesia just doesn't work for some things...especially when he could describe that same newsletters as one his passions back in 1995.
I mean.... really who publishes a paper that gives them $1 million in revenue (for just one of those years) without reading it?...followed with another question.... why would anyone publishing a newsletter under their name and handpick 5 or 6 white supremacist leaning writers to provide the content? Surely he should have enough smarts to know something about the ideas and writing subjects of his freelance writers....and if he didn't wouldn't that lack of attention and oversight also make him a poor choice for president?

I swear, when Gloria comes into the situation room, and talks with Wolf Blitzer, I can't help but Just stare into her eyes ! (maybe it's her eyeliner) but she really captures my full attention ! same way when she's on w/ J.King, maybe it's the way she captures the audience, the way she talks, and looks into the camera, I don't know. No matter what -She knows her stuff, when telling about – what she found out – regarding whatever subject she's talking about.
Ok Larry...agreed Gloria is a pretty lady. Now let's get back to the discussion
