Then you are free to leave the country moron. This president was duly elected by more than 54% of the electorate. The constitution says he's your president. If you don't believe in that document, I hear that Syria is looking for some loyal citizens...don't mind the fact, people are being shot in the streets. Nonetheless...good bye and good riddens, we won't miss you

well feel free to leave, because he was duly elected by the 54% of the electorate. Unlike his predecessor; an appointment by the SCOTUS. bye bye, don't let the door knob hit ya on the keyster

That same argumant failed miserably for the Army doctor who refused to ship out to Afghanistan.
By your reasoning, did the doctor hate American soldiers more than he did President Obama that he didn't want to take care of them?

Governor Daniels hit the nail on the head, with his response to Obama ...
Obama's State of the Union address signaled that obama is still a dishonest hypocrite, who intends to saddle the American people with his failed policies for another 4 years, if they have the misfortune of having him as their President again !!!

Governor Daniels was Bush's economic advisor. Based on history, I would take zero advise from this man. He contributed to destroying our economy.

Well Howard...I'm afraid no one will believe any thing you have to say if it is not backed up by facts. Unfortunately Gov. Daniels did not get it quite right.

So please, in the future, check your facts.

Failed policies? There are few policies that failed. He tried to do much more than he was able to accomplish only because Republicans tried their best to stand in his way.

Daniels should clean his own house, in Indiana, before he talks about the he as economic adviser who helped plan the failed economic polices of George Bush's presidency is the reason we currently have the mess we do.

What is it with those that are so ignorant about our President. The Repubs. are greedy and contributed to the failure of our economy. President Obama, has done more to help than any of them, If they would work with him and for the People we would be better off. I get tired of the BS about our President. All the Repubs do is complain and draw huge pay checks at our expense.

"Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed had not labor existed first." "Labor is the superior of capital and deserves much the higher consideration." – Abraham Lincoln address to Congress -December 1861

Unions do not hurt America; corporate greed hurts America. Labor union provide not only a standard of living for themselves but set the standard for the working public at large. Were it not for unions children would still be working 14 hour days, and workers would be forced to work in unsafe and unhealthy conditions...with sub-standard pay, no vacations, no health benefits, no retirement. Unions in my opinion are a must, to prevent the recurrence of the egregious acts against workers from our historical not to distant past.

Hello.....Yes, China can build things cheaper....basically with the aid of slave labor.

      January 26, 2012 at 1:18 pm |
      • Steveo

Not picking on you but Greed whether corporate or union hurt America. You are correct when you say unions did a lot of good and most of what they fought for has been adopted by the federal government into labor laws! I remember studying Samual Gompers back in the day! Unions also had a dark, violent side (re: the Molly McGuires). But that is history. 3-4 years ago the UAW wanted a seat at the GM Board of Directors. Why? Because the emphasis (in my opinion) has shifted from workers to political power! They may carry the same name (UAW, Teamsters) but the mission is not quite the same! Card check (I think that is what its called) for example!

Another Great Job Seals, and more accomplishments for this President. Remember the Somali Pirates in Obama's first few months of office? This president lives up to his oath ...swearing to protect its citizens against threats foreign and domestic....Ok, Ok, There isn't much he can do about the Taliban un-patriotic fools called the GOP/Tea Potty, but he at least offers us a choice to support him, an intelligent man, versus the total stupidity of the GOP clown collective 3-2-1, the Obama Haters begin their stupidity assault. You can recognize them very easily. 1) Childish name calling of the president 2) Complete and utter exclusion of the actual facts 3) Absence of support for any one of the clowns running for the GOP nomination...and 4) Couldn't articulate a single reason to vote GOP/Tea Potty that doesn't sound like the exact same stupidity that got us into the mess in the first place....oh....And you can also recognize a troll immediately, because there is always a village missing an idiot

John, put down that Faux News Book for intellectually disabled...You're not make any sense. President Obama didn't have the authority to give missions to the seal team before he got elected to the office....what's your point?

...It is so sad what this intelligent president does to the people who can't comprehend competent leadership from the WH. One can only surmise, the best reason for electing Bush Jr. was simply because he was the type of guy that you could have a beer with, these people fishing for anything clever to say, instead only coming up with incoherent babble and poppy-cock, facts be D@mn.

      • jean2009

        @ John
I would take the comments from his Nobel Prize acceptance speech then look at the fact that the largest bulk of his Nobel prize money went to Fisher House; which provides for wounded Vets and their families. Did you know President Obama and Bill O'Reilly teamed up last year to raise over $750,000 for Fisher House?

In other words, I accept truth and facts not your uneducated fiction and lies.

        January 26, 2012 at 1:35 pm |

Trace I agree with you. The President deserves the credit for the amazing job the Seals have done. It takes guts for the President to make these calls and he's done an excellent JOB

Obama was aware of this rescue attempt while making his state of the union speach. This is what I want a president that is calm and can stand up during adversity. Great speach. He truly was thanking our great military. I see that on truth check everything he stated came back true. Imagine that. Obama Biden 2012

You are right george...its actually Politi-fact and its the truth-o-meter...But you are 100% correct....everything came out as facts...something the GOP and its vapid followers couldn't possibly grasp.

      January 26, 2012 at 3:31 am |

What did BO say that he hasn't said before. The speech was a repeat of what he has said he would do in the past. He obviously hasn't done it.

      January 26, 2012 at 8:34 am |
      • Scott54

He has not done it because the republicans will not let him. Their only goal is not what is good for the country, but to assure that Obama will not be re-elected.

Any of the repubs are better than BO. If BO is elected I will be sad for the America I knew. The damage he has done in 3 years is bad enough.
His biggest accomplishment is class warfare. Recent polls show Americans feel the biggest issue facing America is not unemployment and not race relations – BO has made class warfare the number 1 issue. Great job pres. I guess we got the change you were talking about.

Go ahead and vote for your retarded GOPers. At the end, Obama will come out stronger. Middle class Americans don't like to be taken advantage of and that's exactly what the GOP party is doing.

        January 25, 2012 at 3:54 pm |
      • J. Glenn

I think fixing the issues and differences between the classes. How can anyone not be a part of the top two percent and be content with the fact that they hold seventy percent of the wealth in this country? I believe it is only people blind to this fact. Class warfare will occur, because there will come a time when they will control over ninety percent of the money, and push people of the lower classes only further down. Think about why class warfare is an issue now before it becomes something to big for the government to handle.

President Obama is proud of the troops and seems to have the greatest of respect for them. It is clear that he values their skills tremendously. For this President it seems to be all about the troops. This is an example of speaking softly and carrying a big stick as well as using the force of the Military wisely. Rather than starting phony wars, operations like these willl bring far more respect for the US armed services and show these thugs and terrorists not to play the fool with USA.

I am amazed by the Tea/Republicans comments that see some fictitious OBama compared to the Real Obama. He made a good call and saved an Americans life like any good President should. He is isn't perfect but he is better than ANY of the other guys– and I don't see them as his competition since they are only consumed with the malicious slander of Obama. Obama has done a better job than that last Republican in office! The Tea/Republicans that were voted in office should be CONSUMED with doing their jobs instead of tirelessly seeking Obama's demise. Obama has been under fire and threat since he got into office and all the other party seems to do is work on making sure he is a one term president,. They have ABSOLUTELY NO CONCERN FOR PROVIDING SOLUTIONS TO WHAT THE REAL WORKING AMERICANS NEEDS. THEY ONLY WANT TO GET OBAMA OUT OF OFFICE! AND BY THE WAY REAL WORKING AMERICANS ARE NOT IN THE 2% THAT THEY COVET AND PROTECT AND WE WOULD LIKE SOME ACCOUNTABILITY AND FAIRNESS ACROSS THE BOARD–NOT A HANDOUT JUST EQUALITY FOR ALL. YOU MIGHT RECOGNIZE THOSE LAST WORDS FROM THE CONSTITUTION. OBAMA 2012!!

President Obama may not have loved and appreciated the military before he was in office, but now he has a new found appreciation for them, and you can tell.

And it just so happened this killing of nine people occurred to coincide with the state of the union reelection speech. Last year the assignation of Osama happened when obama was forced to produce a birth certificate...hummmm.

Jan Brewer certainly put obama in his hole..hahaha He is so concerned about his image, but then that is all he has. Last week a guy in Thailand got twenty years for texting a derogatory message about their king... Look out Jan obama really thinks he is king.

    January 26, 2012 at 3:50 pm |
  17. demprince

and this hit just happened to go down before the State of the Union reelection speech. Last May he hit Osama just as he was forced to explain his birth certificate....

Watch out Jan Brewer. There was a guy in Thailand who got twenty years for texting a derogatory message about their King... and we all know obama thinks he is king. Jan wanted to talk about the economy obama wanted to discuss her book..and what she said about him... he is always polishing his image..hahaha. Well, that is all he has.

CNN is sometimes a shamefull operative of DNC and Obama. This country is suffering; with 15% unemployment. The exporting of jobs in an agenda and Obama handlers finally has him talking about :manufacturing". Banks not issuing modifications, Tea Party ruining congress but most of all an intern president that just runs for president while doing nothing substantial to improve economy and save the homes of American middle class.
What a mess. We decline and CNN stands by. Report why Daley really left WH.
How is company stock doing?. Ted Turner must be sick to stomach.
