....actually, the Clowns are on the GOP side/along supporters like you. In fact, there have never been a cast of idiots so profound as those currently on display Since you obviously don't support YOUR PRESIDENT (and by the way Emanuel had it right).....Which one of the current turd blossoms GOP Candidates do you support and way? It doesn't require any brains to be against something / or someone. But you might have to think a little to be actually for something....I doubt that is your forte, but trying to give a petulant fool like you a fair shot at it.

While Americans are pinching their pennies, looking for work, watching their home values sink, getting gouged at the market and the pumps ... Michelle Obama goes on a one hour $50,000 shopping spree, for clothes, in New York. Barack squanders FIVE TRILLION of OUR hard earned dollars, in just3 years ... and, now both of the Obama's are campaigning feverishly, for Americans to send them more of OUR money, in order to help the Obama's get reelected.
It's time to kick these self-serving, corrupt hypocrites out of the White House !!!

You're probably "against" drinking poison, right? I guess that means you don't have any brains. I think your mom's coming home, better get dressed and come up out of the basement, and lay off the kool-aid!

Mitt Romney and the racist Newt and homophobe Rick Santorum will! Doubt it. I bought my first home because of this President. Tell me how is that a bad thing.

        February 1, 2012 at 11:16 am |
      • Eric

The new home owners subsidy WAS a bad thing because people like me jumped at the opportunity to buy when I otherwise would have waited. Sure I got an $8K tax break but because I bought then as opposed to waiting until the market bottomed I am now also upside down on my home loan. Anyone else out there in the same boat...the same sinking boat?

Quantify your statement. Is it the saving of the auto industry or preventing the collapse of the banking industry or the fact he convinced thousands of American's including myself to buy their first home. Oh, my how horrible of him to do those terrible things.

GM and Chrysler still owe us money, as do Fannie and Freddie. You claim he "saved" them but you're wrong, the taxpayers saved them and we'll be paying for decades to come. Put down the kool-aid and take a swig of reality instead.

Glen Beck needs to get another job. All he does is search CNN for a story about Obama and insert his disgusting lies, hoping some idiots will believe his venom.

In his career – Obama has experience in one thing only – campaigning. Hopping from one office to another while the taxpayers contributors paid his fare. In his career – he has lead nothing except for a campaign staff – who likely managed him.

The new housing proposal is nothing but a campaign ploy, designed to pit him against the big evil banks and the republicans. Need we forget that the mortgage and economic problem we're in originated with government manipulation of the free market system – thanks in particular go to Barney Frank and Chris Dodd via Fannie and Freddie.

The more we continue to try and manipulate the free market system through more regulation – to 'level the playing field' – the further we'll screw up our economy.

So Trace – sorry to be negative and point out the issue, but you can't avoid the facts. It take brains to articulately express why you're against someone or something. Obama is NOT my president because he disagrees with the fundamental principles that made this country great – e.g. his statements regarding the constitution and the role of government. He also, like most limousine liberals – is a complete hypocritical (too many fact based examples to list).

As for you – chastising someone for being negative while referring to the republican candidates as 'turd blossoms' – see my points on why I don't like Obama.

Lastly, maybe you can explain what's wrong with Romney. A successful businessman who knows how to create jobs (which sometimes means cutting them). He pays his taxes (millions) and contributes to charity. He has demonstrated skills as a proven leader. So far- what he's not that good at – is being a politician – which was supposed to be the "change" you Obama supporters were looking for.

Of coarse you do because he will bail you out when you can't afford it. Me on the other hand if I lose my job and can't get another in time to make payments I am out of luck, because I bought mine before the god obama went into office and I am not considered a minority.

      February 1, 2012 at 1:49 pm |
    • Lefty

Probably because you can afford it and make the payments. All these other people couldn't from day one, they knew it and the banks knew it. Does it make sense that a bank would loan out money that they know they will never get back? The only way they will is if somebody promises to back them up or either orders them to do it. The Community Reinvestment Act did that very thing, the banks sure didn't go out on their own looking for bad credit risks. The people that signed on the dotted line are also responsible. Who doesn't read a contract before they sign it and are certain they can make the payments? The banks certainly aren't innocent but neither is the government.

Gee what is newt and mitt talking about today. ??? Tell me what their wives have been doing for this country.? You repo blowhards have no clue. Aside from bashing our president you have no plan no ideas and no morals either. We are tired of unsubstantiated lies coming from the money rich super pacs. They have all the money and you dummies will just make them more but you won't see it. While mitt and newt are dukeing it out the president is working on the economy. And I want him to take some time to fund raise. He will get lots of support we are tired of you dooms day negativity. All you do is talk XXXX or get of the pot.

You need to stay in the jungle George. $16 Trillion in debt and growing is worth discussing! Unfortunately, Obama (who called Bush 'unpatriotic' when it was at $9 Trillion) has no intention of discussing it – just bashing the republicans when they fight increasing the debt ceiling.

Also – get your fact straight. Obama, going back on his word (what a surprise), was the first candidate to ever back out of public funding for the presidential election – because he set records in PAC fund raising (including from Wall Street).

Many logical people would argue that not having morals is continuing to buy votes through social spending – keeping those oppressed for eternity. Do you think the doomsday discussions should have happened in Greece before all the riots.

Lastly – Obama has not intention on working on the economy but to turn it to a socialist state. He's doing the only thing he knows how to do – campaign (dirty – the Chicago way).

Anybody not voting for Obama is a fool. What other politician is going to have your mortgage and student loan debt paid off by the rich? Answer, none. What other leader provides you with a free cell phone, medical care, extended unemployment? Come on people, you no longer need to work, just vote and sit back and wait for the check. God I love Obama, finally a modern day Robin Hood.

yes! The Lybian dictator did the same thing...man it really worked well...a socialist community, free health care, food, lavish pensions, and $50k for newly weds to buy their first home. Then, the economy tanked, the dollar lost value (and Lybia couldn't get enough $ for their oil) and the US would not let them trade in other currencies, and well...ok, darn it things just fell apart. But, there is hope, the Muslim Brotherhood is there to fix it!

p.s. why did obama have the dictator zapped? Why not bring him to trial..like President Bush did for the Iraq leader..?

Boy, he is kinda stiff and cold eyed..and there is the media persona...the slickness, teleprompter...why not have press meetings where EVERYONE get to ask the HARD QUESTIONS? Like..'Mr President, did Mz President really spend $50,000.00 on Madison ave in NY the other day?'

? (shakes head) Well?(pauses) Ok, I?ll just come out and say what is aardley underway, and to hell with the possible consequences to me. I will not support Barack Obama in 2012. That possibility has left the table for me. Based on what I know, what I have been told, what I have seen in recent weeks?no, I cannot support the President for a second term. My concern for the party, for the country?my conscience does not allow me that option any longer. Obama is not fit to be president. He simply does not possess the inclinations necessary to lead the country. And I don?t like saying that. I helped the man get elected. I was in the trenches day after day from city to city helping things get done in 2008?I take no pleasure in saying I was a part of that. And I take no pleasure in saying Obama should not be re-elected in 2012.That is a very strong statement ? anything recent that causes you to now say you will not support Obama in 2012? (Long pause ? question is repeated)There is much I have been told, some I know, some more that will probably develop in the coming weeks and months. But you want specifics, right? I understand that?I?ll give you an example of why President Obama is not right for America. He sure as hell has not been right for the party. Not long ago, the president took a meeting. He?s late, which apparently is becoming more and more common with him. The meeting was almost cancelled. In strolls the president, joking with an aide. He plops down on a sofa, leans over and claps another guy on the back asking how he?s been. Apologizes for being late, says he was ?held up?. He laughs some more. The meeting begins. After just ten minutes, during which time the president appears to almost totally withdraw into himself, an aide walks in and whispers something to the president, who then nods and quickly stands up, shakes a few hands and tells another aide to update him later on the rest of the meeting. As the president is walking out he is laughing at something yet again. He asked no questions of those at the meeting ? not one. He left after just ten minutes, coming in laughing and leaving laughing. His behavior during that brief time he was there was described as ?borderline manic?.Ok, you have aardley stated previously that the president doesn?t show much interest in the day to day business of being president ? why is this example so bad, or different?Care to know what that particular meeting was about on that day?Certainly.Afghanistan. That meeting was an update on Afghanistan, and the President of the United States, the Commander in Chief, could give a -expletive-.Were you actually there to witness this? No, I was long gone from the White House by then. It was told to me though by someone who was. They were there. First hand. They were also left to apologize to the ones left in the room after the president left. Some of these were military. They were not happy. No?that is not accurate. They were pissed. They didn?t say much at the time, but word got back. They were in shock at the president?s behavior. The country had just lost a number of soldiers the week prior, the public opinion on the war was falling?and the president didn?t seem to care. He arrives late, leaves early, appears to emotionally shut down during the actual discussion, and to then start laughing once again as he is leaving?how does someone reconcile with that kind of behavior? I can?t. It turns my stomach. I didn?t want to believe what I was being told, but I had seen similar kinds of behavior from the president myself, and I can?t dispute the credibility of the source. They have no reason to lie.So is that one example the real tipping point for you in no longer being willing to support Obama in 2012? Or do you have any others you wish to share?Oh, I have others, though I cannot share all of them at this point because they involve some still in range of potential White House retribution. Then again, I suppose I am still in range of such retribution myself. Any guesses on who the source is? I would be interested to find out, but I suppose that we will have to wait for the book.Reply
