Obama treads lightly in Oval Office statement with Xi

Washington (CNN) - President Barack Obama welcomed China's presumptive premier at the White House Tuesday but also set the tone for future relations between the two world powers.

Obama said that with China's meteoric rise as an economic powerhouse came a responsibility to ensure balanced trade flows. He also raised the delicate issue of human rights as a critical area of concern for the United States.

"We've tried to emphasize that because of China's extraordinary development over the last two decades, that with expanding power and prosperity also comes increased responsibilities," Obama said after an Oval Office meting with Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping.

....uh Brad, I know you must have been in a really deep slumber, but Bush opened up the chinese credit card when starting two unfunded wars. $10Trillion later he handed that bill off to Obama. So how does anyone, overlord or otherwise pay off a mountain of debt within three (3) years, with the country in near depression?

Oh...you're one of those people that think that Obama created that mess. Gotcha....Ok back to night night time for you. We'll wake you up when its all fix...Ok? Geesh !

You know these are the words of the reporter as he sees it, for Obama and the rest of the world it is called diplomacy, there is a time and a place to discuss issues of high caliber, and it is not done from President to President, there are a multitude of channels for that......but, I bet you knew that already, oh wait!!..actually, you do "not" know and understand little about this situations, go learn something, will you?

this is whats know as diplomacy. Glad he mentioned human rights. Hope we can keep communications open unless we get some clown repo in office that will screw it all up or start some war. Everyone acts like china is awful but all the farmers want to trade with them and it sure has helped.

No matter how Obama uses smoke and mirrors during his dog and pony show for the Chinese, unlike the obama stooges in America, these shrewd visitors can see right through obama's barage of B.S. !!!

Obama has given away the superiority of the Office of the President of the United States by bowing to a Muslim emir. Now, he is making that official (himself) appear to be a wimp by not knowing what to do about China's rise.

Officially, Obama should be thought of as a White House Squatter and nothing else!!
