I'm sure the dinner will be awesome....Good for them...
Obama is a lying snake, who has been selling out the American people for the last 3 1/2 years. Anyone who votes to reelect this traitor is a fool.
I wonder if Barr...I mean Barack will give a l o n g speach? Will the telepromptor be on the wall or sitting on the table in front of him? Just wondering.
Jerry- seems like you have been teaching public speaking or do you use hooked on phonics?
How is that life of a troll treating you these days?
If he were from the "other party" he would write it on the back of his hand. Give me a break! Everyone uses teleprompters.
I find it amazing that you got this talking point from someone who was probably reading it off a teleprompter.
So Geitner, Holder, Kerry and Biden are not only overpaid but they get their meals free too?
Where are they having this dinner, in a football stadium? Also, why invite Brits Cameron can see at home?
Well, I guess I can put away my best clothes even I sent in my regular contributions as a faithful servant. How can I stand this disappointment?
Why the Hell wasn't I invited?
So 150 are invited to dinner, and the other 300? Just for cocktails, what? There are 450 people listed here. Who is staying for dinner?
Must be a lot of Republicans on that list that he is trying to solicit votes from!
Wow! A room full of brown nosing mudda effers!
Must be a lot of Republicanss on that list that he is trying to solicit votes from!
those Republicans better watch what the chef puts in their soup!
Why am I paying for George Clooney to have dinner at a State function?
OMG. Idris Elba and George Clooney at the same event. So hot.
LOL....What a hypocrite.... And Barry is for the little man....
Definitely a slow news day for CNN.
And for all of us that are out of work I guess we can eat cake?
Nice to have a touch of glitz and glamor. The event was quite appropriate, especially since the American hosts and British guests, these heads of state and their families may have been related in colonial times. So many Americans and British are related, it's nice to see them get together not only politically but socially and culturally. If I have British relatives, so do a lot of Americans. I share one example on History News Network.

Good to see something positive in the news. Unlike the negativity going on in the Republican party. We should be celebrating our successes and friendships more. Go OBAMA.
Right!
OMG.....no wonder we have starving kids in America, numerous homeless people and most can't afford to put gas in their cars. It's not that the middle class should continue to foot the bill for all this frivolous spending......it's that the middle class should unite and tell the gov't to shove it up their @#$%^, quit spending our money in this fashion and start taking care of what is actually important to WE THE PEOPLE. Come on....are Americans really this stupid....as all the jokes around the world say???????
@Lisa..where have you been hiding? Didn't you know that's exactly what your Rethuglicans don't want?? They don't care if Americans starve to death. They don't care if we end up outside on the streets. They said they are sick and tired of the government taking care of the poor and hungry! They say it's our fault!! We had the same chances and opportunities as the wealthy to pick our ownselves up out of the muck and mire!! In essence, they don't want BIG GOVERNMENT working on behalf of the people anymore!! 'OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE, FOR THE PEOPLE is no longer the truth! As far as they're concerned anyway. The reason a few dollars more were added to peoples food stamp cards, more people were added to the 'food stamp program', federal taxes weren't raised and unemployment was extended so many times is because of this President and all of the people you see at that dinner! They pay more taxes than you or I!! You do know that federal taxes pay for these programs don't you? They're the one percenters alright, yet the 'CONS' keep running around teling LIES on Obama, claiming that he's staging 'class warfare' between them and the ninety-nine percenters!! It seems to me they agree with Obama's solution for the most part..they know deep down inside that they could and need to pay there fair share in taxes...PERIOD! The only ones who are fighting that notion are the GREED OVER PEOPLE PARTY. So what do you want? Are you really concerned about homeless and hungry folks eating or not? According to the GOP nuts, the government is feeding too many people already! They call Obama the 'food stamp' President!! When it stood to reason to me that it was incumbent on him to at least feed Americans, who due to the failing economy, had lost their jobs and housing! He was also berated for extending unemployment to people who had a hard time finding other jobs by your 'good old boys and girls' in the Rethuglican Party. So are you just waging a jealous tirade against Obama because he really can relate to both 'classes' and all sections of the American society except for the anti-Obama fringed 'demon' groups??
I'm sure those on food stamps enjoyed reading this article.
I'm not on them...and I enjoyed reading it.
Wonder if Afghan chappali kabobs were on the menu....delicious !!
