Obama to Vermont and Maine for fundraisers(CNN) – President Barack Obama heads to Vermont and Maine Friday to help bring in campaign cash for his re-election bid. The president will be the main attraction at two events in Vermont, one of the most Democratic states in the country, and at two more in Maine, a state then-presidential candidate Obama won by 18 points in the 2008 election. The four events are the last fundraisers the president's scheduled to attend by Saturday, the last day of fundraising in the first quarter. The numbers are bound to be scrutinized by pundits and political operatives as the 2012 election heats up. The Obama Victory Fund, which is shared by the Obama re-election campaign and the Democratic National Committee, brought in around $45 million in February. Read more on the Ticker. |

Silly me, I have a job where they expect me to work on Fridays.
Campaigning is a full time job for him. It's just that sometimes he calls it something else so he doesn't have to pay for it out of his billion dollar campaign funds.
Thanks to the SCOTUS Citizens United decision, those running for the 2016 presidential nomination will have to start raising money as of November 7, 2012.
Campaigning for ALL of them is a full time job thanks to the misguided SCOTUS Citizens United decision.

This madness over the mega Millions Lotto is just more prof we could use a National lotto to pay off our National deficit...just require the winners to take a ten years pay out, then let them leave any future payments to anybody in their wills, if they die ...and make the winnings tax free...and enough people would buy those tickets, that we could pay off our national debt faster then Congress ever will..

So he dont stand up for woamans rights & he insults a Latino Surpreme Court Judge, & he wonts entire Industries to go bankrupt & & therefore hundreds of thousands losing teir homes, & he wants to start a little bitty arms race with Russia, is not in the least bit concerend about the poor & whether the can feed their families & keep a roof & is doing a little thing called surpressing te vote for millions of miorities & The elderly & has secret bank accounts overseas to avoid paying more than the 13.8 % in taxes. & fully supports the dirty little secret in the Lds cult of no BLACK elders in the so called worldwide religion of 14 million & he took a measley 3 quarter Billion from The Us Gov & said it was for HIM to save the games & a few little measly hundred million or so directly from our The US Gov to go into the pockets of the financilly strapped Mormon Bain& Co while Shipping jobs to China. Thank you for coming to Vermont, Mr. President! It was a VERY exciting day for our little state. It's not too often that we make it into the national spotlight, if only for four hours...
In lieu of attending the event in Burlington today, I donated $15 to your campaign. I guess that makes me part of the "Democratic Machine" that some people are so afraid of. What they don't realize is that the "machine" is made of mostly of people like me, who give a little here and there when we can.

every president has had to raise money for his reelection. Why do so many repo clowns act like this is a bad or new thing.? Bush did it Reagan did it. The repos only have a few doners giving large chunks of money so they don't have to spend as much time raising money and can use that time to bash each other and the president. The president gets most of his money from small doners and works that into his busy schedule . He dosen't waste his time bashing the clowns on the right who do a fine job without his help.Each day a print out is published of the presidents schedule so most intellegent people can see he does not spend all his time fund raising. The more the repos attack him the better for us. They turn more people off whith their assinine remarks. Obama 2012 4 more years move forward not back to the 1950's
