FACT: the XL pipeline provides Canadian and Mid-West Oil producers a quicker EXPORT route – they can sell more and get paid more quickly at a higher rate. There is NO INTENT to keep that oil domestic.. it will be refined in Port Arthur and SOLD on the open market. It WILL NOT stay in the US. It will also increase gas prices in the mid-west. That is what Obama is fighting.
