Tween idols to visit WH Easter Egg Roll The White House has announced the line-up of talent for Monday's White House Easter Egg Roll and it includes several tween stars. Actress and singer Rachel Crow is scheduled to sing the national anthem to kick the festivities off. And teen stars Janelle Monae, Cody Simpson, Rachel Crow, Zendaya, China Ann McClain and the McClain Sisters will also be performing on stage on the South Lawn. Among the other activities planned are a tennis clinic with former teenage tennis stars Michael Chang and Chris Evert and the "Eggtivity Zone" which will feature professional athletes such as Dedreck Etan Thom and Nick Young of the NBA and the NFL's Brian Orakpo, Lorenzo Alexander, and Antwaan Randle El. The star of NBC's "Biggest Loser", trainer Bob Harper, will also be part of the activities which are a part of First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" initiative. Several stars like ABC's Robin Roberts, actress Julianne Moore, and actor Forest Whitaker will be reading stories to children. And White House chefs will be joined by Top Chefs Richard Blais and Paul Qui and others where they will do healthy food demonstrations. The White House has distributed 35,000 tickets for the event that will last from 7:30a to 6:20p. |

It is so vital to protect kids and let them enjoy childhood. Teens are kids too. Mrs. Obama's health campaign is much needed and she is just awesome all she does for kids and vets! Mrs. O just needs to promote organic and non gmo, chemical and nanoparticle free food! Whew. "pink slime" and "caramel coloring" has got America talkin'. It's like whoa, what in the heck are they serving us?!

No church has a right to dictate what an employees' insurance should cover. Since the church is not paying for the employees' policy. The employees' work hours have earned them coverage. Point of fact if the employee of a Catholic university or hospital is laid off work they qualify to purchase COBRA.
This from the Catholic University of America website.

" Yes, in most cases. Under Title X of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA), the University offers continuation of health and/or dental insurance under certain circumstances. A regular employee is eligible for continuation of health care coverage if coverage was lost because of a reduction of hours or termination for reasons other than gross misconduct. Persons electing to continue health care coverage under COBRA will be responsible for the full cost of the premium plus a 2 percent administrative fee."
SO ... if their work is not providing for their coverage then why should they be fully responsible for the cost of a premium. Truth is the church is not paying the employee is earning the right to insurance premium coverage.

Best estimates have Obamacare at double the cost than their original forecases. That, along with many, many unknowns in the crazy bill have had a very negative impact on hiring, especially with businesses who have around 50 employees.
Well actually John I'm still complaining about the mess Ronald Reagan left us that it took a good 25 years to clean up. So people complaining about the monumental mess George W. Bush left with his unfunded wars for his crony war profiteers, NCLB which was a get rich scheme for his bro Jeb, and the Texas school book publishers. During the Civil War states seceded from the union when Lincoln was elected. The country went to war state against state. At the battle of Shiloh April 6, 1862 for a day battle 24,000 Americans died, for the full Civil War about 700,000 were killed.
