Wednesday at the White House The only public event on President Obama’s schedule on Wednesday comes in the evening at an event honoring songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David in the East Room. Earlier in the day, Obama will hold several meetings in the Oval Office, including an afternoon meeting with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and a meeting with Vice President Biden and the NATO secretary-general. The White House says the three “will discuss final preparations for the NATO Summit the President will host in Chicago on May 20-21.” Full schedule after the jump

Letting GM go chapter 11 was the right thing to do, just like thousands of other businesses, including several big airlines. It would have saved America BILLIONS and GM would have survived. As I said, somehow Ford made it without our governmnet giving them billions.
The comment about the poor was related to the over abundance of entitlements that people have as their "safety net".

Honest folk know a president has nothing to do with gas prices. The industry may react to a speech, policy, or something but that is about it. So,no blame, no credit! Dems blamed Bush for the very same issue as well. Issuing blame or credit for gas prices to any president is not accurate!
