President's schedule in vacation mode Monday There are no public events on President Obama's schedule Monday as he and the first family remain at the presidential retreat at Camp David in Maryland. The rest of Washington and its suburbs continue the clean-up after severe storms Friday. |

There is no reason why we Americans allow the President to us Air Force 1 to travel for free to campaign tours and to raise funds. He should pay for any use that is not official business. Let the Election Committee decide what is and what is not official business. Just like the competition does, Obama should pay his own way. No more free rides we can not afford it anymore. Please wake up my fellow citizens you have been ignoring the DC waist for much to long.

Under Bill Clinton and AL GORE, the biggest enviromentalist you can name, gas prices were $1.82/gal when Clinton left office.
When GWB took over, Gas prices skyrocketed to $3.86/gal. Oil industry profits SKYROCKETED. It should be no surprise, put an oil man in charge, and oil company profits skyrocket. Too bad for the middle class paying those gas prices... but then again the Republicans don't care about the middle class...
NATIONAL DEFENSE:
Under GWB, the worst terrorist attack in the history of the world took place.
Seven years later, the Republicans couldn't catch Osama. Bush started two multi-trillion dollar wars, which our childrens children will be paying for.
Three years under Obama, Osama Bin Laden is dead, and the wars are coming to an end.
Romney plans to INCREASE military spending, even though the military's budget is twice as much as it was in 2001, and the wars are ENDING. People wonder why we're spending so much... HERE IT IS FOLKS!
DEBT:
Romney plans on giving millionaires a massive tax cut. This is money we don't have.
Thus, he's going to BORROW A TRILLION DOLLARS FROM CHINA TO GIVE TO THE WEALTHY. That's on TOP of Obama's budgets!!!!! DEFIT SPENDING HERE WE COME.
Tax cuts are great, yes, they're fantastic. And if we were swimming in surplus, they'd be appropriate. But borrowing money to give tax cuts is nothing but buying votes of the wealthy.
Second, he plans to INCREASE military spending.

RETIREMENT:

And "Severely conservative" republicans do not believe in abortions for rape, incest, or in cases where the mother's life is in danger.

Well let us not forget that on June 28, 2008 the highest EVER national average for gasoline was reached (never before and never afterward) has it been at that national average price of $4.21 per gallon. I just gassed this morning at $3.02 per gallon.
So Google it and you will fine the highest national average price recorded for gasoline was when G.W. Bush was President.
Earlier this week, I linked to an article in which John Hofmeister, former president of Shell Oil, proclaimed that the price of gasoline could hit $5 a gallon by 2012.
The national average gas price has been slowly trending higher after crashing to an average of $1.616 a gallon in December of 2008 (the national average for a gallon of gas had hit $4.114 just a few months earlier). As it stands right now, the national average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $3.071, with many market observers expecting this to spike in the months leading up to the summer.
