POTUS's schedule for Monday, August 13: Iowa bus tour

After holding five fundraisers in his hometown of Chicago, President Obama kicks off a three-day bus tour of Iowa today.  Later this morning, he'll head to Iowa by way of Omaha. He'll board Ground Force One, by no means the official name of the bus, and make his way to Council Bluffs, Iowa. Along the way, we expect him to stop for meet and greets with locals in some other towns. He's been known to stop at diners for breakfast or country stores or farmers' markets. Later this evening, he has another campaign event in Boone, Iowa.

    I guess nobody cares that this guy really doesn't do anything except campaign. I do not have an issue with it because it is time taken away from implementing bad policy. I wish the dems could see him for what he is – a con man that is in the process of ruining the country.
    The repubs actually have a team that could really help this country.

      HOPE AND CHANGE = Replacing Obama with Romney & Ryan ... followed by replacing the far left, biased, partisan main stream media with fair, balanced and objective journalists !!!

    I hope the people of this country realize that Romney & Ryan are actually promoteing the big oils corporations, Wallstreet ceo's like Romney is,The Koch Bros ect. If anybody thinks the middle class ( working class ) is going to advance with these guys and their agenda is going to benifit from them they're crazy. The Greed needs to stop at the Highest levels. They have been after Medicare & Social Security for 40 years plus to take down. It's all a control issue. The GOP in Washington has obstructed the jobs to create failure for the POTUS. !.% million jobs are setting in the house and have been for almost 2 years and the Republicans refuse to pass anything period. Enough is Enough ! They need to be stopped at anyway the Democratics can.

      Everything you wrote about the Repubs we have SEEN FROM THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION. Your dem lies are fooling only dems, but I must admit, that may be enough to get BO reelected.
      We already know the economy is not "advancing" now under Obama. I want my president to lead BOTH PARTIES, not just blame the other side (like you did) when he is clueless.
      1st lie – Medicare – Obama(care) is gutting it while at the same time telling lies about the repubs wanting to get rid of it.
      2nd lie – obstruction – Obama and the dems passed the biggest tax increase in the history of the world w/Obamacare.
      Obama has no clue on how to create jobs. He thinks Govt. and private jobs are the same.
      BTW, you forgot to mention the communist Soros. And, btw, how much did Obama get from Wallstreet folks? Millions...

      Ryan has a budget, where are the Dem's budget? Where?
      Ryan's budget was sponsored by a Senator from Oregon (a Dem)
      The Obama plan is to strip $712 TRILLION for Medicare/medicaid
      The Ryan plan does not. Keep hiding behind taxes if you want to but that does not heal the economy!

      @JUDY ...
      Where are your college records, Mr. Obama ... and, why have you spent over a million dollars to hide your records? It's too bad you were unable to build several businesses, like Mr. Romney. Mr. Romney created thousands of jobs ... all you've done is live on the public dole for several decades ... and sqander over 5 TRILLION dollars of other people's hard earned money, in just 3 1/2 years. By the way Judy, you should learn how to spell LIAR, since you and Obama are both LIARS.

    Whoever thinks that Social Security, Medicare can survive in the next 25 years without substantial changes is only fooling themselves. Since I am an elderly citizen its not going to affect me but younger folk need to think for themselves rather than listening to the democrats. Four more years of these kind of policies will be the death knell of our republic.

    wow – when does he find time to actually work. I guess everything in America really is fine? I need a job where I can be in my office a couple hours a week, then spend the rest of the time vacationing on a bus, playing golf, basketball all on someone else dime.
