    Gotta stay with the kids since they're still living off of mom and dad and not Obama's policies. He can't afford too many crowds with adults.

      Rather than work on solving our economy, energy and the massive debt problems, we see only fear tactics from Obama's campaign and his state run media. They know, their only hope is to put together a coalition of the willfully ignorant;
      Women who think Republicans are at war with them;
      Latinos who believe Republicans want to deport them;
      Blacks who believe Republicans are racists and want to chain them,
      College kids who believe Republicans will not lend them money
      and Seniors who believe Republicans will destroy their Medicare and Social Security.

      Jimmy Carter use to be the worse president in US history, now he is clearly second to Obama.

        I think perhaps the funniest and most interesting thing about Tea Partiers is their complete unwillingness to accept reality, even as they claim to be champions of the truth. Reality must truly bite for these people, because avoid it at all costs, much like pretty much every single member of the antiquated joke that is the Republican party. I think they have all spent too much time hanging on Newt's moon base, because they all seem a bit light headed and as if they are watching the goings on of the world from some other planet. The Republican party–and in fact, the two party system itself–have utterly FAILED the people they are supposed to represent. And yet we all still sit glued to the screen as if what we see is even a rough sketch of the truth. The Obama administration may not be living up to the promises it has kepts, but that only makes it the 44th administration to do so, and after the COMPLETE EMBARRASSMENT that was the Lil Bush era, to call either Obama or Carter the "worst president of all time" is truly a dictionary example of "audacity". Get out from under the rock people.

        Despite the aggressive language, I think your points are right on the money given the extreme right-wing tendencies of today's GOP:
        Republicans are on track to return to pre-60's era women's rights; whereas Democrats tend to want to protect the rights of women and their reproductive health. If Republicans don't want government in their lives, why on earth do they want government meddling in their private lives.
        Republicans and Democrats alike want to find a solution to illegal immigration. But their approaches differ. Latinos are often the example but are by no means the rule. Illegal immigration is a problem across many nationalities.
        Racism tends to be generational these days: predominant among the elderly and/or uneducated citizens. Unfortunately this has been clearly shown to have a rural/red state (Republican) demographic. We can only hope that in a generation or two racism will be a thing of the past.
        I am pretty sure most college students, no matter their political affiliation, wonder how they are going to pay for college these days. Funding is down and tuitions are way up. Unless there are wealthy parents in the wings, students rely on federal or direct loans. The USA is so far behind in education it is embarrassing.

        Honestly, if you think all the multimillionaires are buying the election to honor YOUR interests, you're mistaken. They are spending millions to protect their own interests: Monsanto, Big oil, Big pharma. Every special interest that can pay its way to buy out the election are doing just that.

        Use your VOICE to VOTE for what YOU VALUE. Make sure your family and friends have VALID voter ID for your area.

      Where are the job bills that Congress and Lying Ryan was supposed to pass.

      Ryan spent his time doing P90X workouts in Washington and putting forth 33 bills to repeal the Affordable care Act.

      Obama cares and that is why he will be re-elected.

        In 2008, obama promised transparency ... to fix our economy ... to defend our constitution. In 2008 Americans were deceived by obama, and sold a bill of goods. Everyone got so swept up by his soaring rhetoric ... so that unfortunately, when the honeymoon was soon over, we were left with a FAR left ideologue, who ran this country into the ground. Therefore, those who voted for obama in 2008, at least had an excuse, of not knowing any better ... BUT, anybody who falls for his B.S. in 2012, is just a fool and a sucker, whose gullible lack of judgement will bring down this country ... beyond repair. America is MORE important than obama ... obama is replaceable ... America is not !!!

      • Howard

        Like obama, you obama stooges love obama more than you love America. America is much, much more important than obama. Obama is expendable and replaceable ... America is not !!!

      Congress is not in session, so even if Obama wanted to do something he couldn't. And besides, it's not like Congress has delivered on its Jobs bills when they are "working".

      August 28, 2012 at 9:16 am |
      • Caramon

        Congress didn't stop Obama from using executive privilege on illegal immigration. He could also be going through the budget line by line as he once promised. Congress consists of both the House and the Senate. The House has passed and submitted 30 jobs bills to the Senate. They sit on Harry Reid's desk and will not be brought up for vote or discussion. In this case, only one man, Harry Reid, has already decided on these 30 jobs bills.

      The House passed three more common-sense jobs bills last week, bringing the current number of jobs bills awaiting a vote in the Democratic-controlled Senate to 25. Each of these bills is focused on removing government barriers – excessive regulations, the threat of tax hikes, and ‘stimulus’ spending policies – that are hurting job growth, and many have bipartisan support. Speaker Boehner has called on President Obama to “urge Senate Democrats to immediately vote” on the 25 jobs bills before them. This week the House is scheduled to consider two more, including the REINS Act.

      In a letter to the president on Tuesday, House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) listed all the House-passed "jobs" bills that are now languishing in the Senate. They include a bill to reduce the regulatory burdens on farmers and small business owners; a bill to block a "job-destroying national energy tax," and a bill to boost offshore energy production.

      What makes you believe the President cares?

        you really believe any of those bill were intended to make to obamas desk, they are fill with crap the democrats in the senate can pass. Please come back when there is a real bipartisan jobs bill passed in the house and not just another stunt to fool people like you

        August 28, 2012 at 10:16 am |
      • Caramon

        Well MC, I take it that you have actually read the bills. Or are you just assuming because you want to believe what you believe. Tell me, what kind of crp are you referring to. The Senate, as always, can bring the bill up for discussion, make changes, then send back the bill back to the House. However, the Senate cannot do anything when the bills sit on Harry Reid's desk.

        @mcs he would have to be at work to see his desk instead of being on Oprah like Madonna your boy Oblunder and Bozo Biden r going to get crushed at the debates

    All our ways reject God's wisdom. Restoring our economy and creating jobs only speeds extinction; young and old are already diseased. Health Insurance, Obama Care and Medicare are not solutions, but obstacles. Call for God's garden paradise lifestyle; it solves our problems and gives good health.

    We are promoting debt, interest, insurance, seeking riches and honors and covetousness, all things God warned against. We do our young people no good by promoting glorified slavery we call employment; it is a bottomless pit that continually wants more from us, usually to correct something we did wrong.

Modern age bb Just because the president is not in the oval office does not mean he is unaware of what is going on. Unlike mitt who is totally unaware where ever he is. Do you keep your money in the caymens bb? Tell us why mitt won't show tax returns. Explaine about the stimulas money ryan didnt take but took.Repos are so dumb will follow anyone that says they are a rebublican. Boy if he gets in will he screw you. Forward.

      Convince me Judy. Tell me why I should vote for President Obama. Tell me how he intends to improve the economy, decrease unemployment, decrease the deficit, reduce the number of recipients on food stamps and reduce welfare recipients. Tell me how he intends to move the country forward. He has spent the past six months focused like a laser on re-election. Congress has not been gone for six months and the best you can produce is a discussion on Isaac. He is the President. His job goes well beyond being aware of what is going on.

      Judy is an example of the FOUL MOUTHED, OBNOXIOUS you can expect, frompeople who support obama. Judy constantly displays a complete lack of civility, and is only capable of baseless insults. This is the tone you can expect from a corrupt politician like obama. In order to return America to it's former greatness, first we must cut off the head of the snake ... and, that's obama. Soon after the obama rats will abandon the sinking obama ship. Good Riddance !!!

    An yet another day where Obama does nothing to help the American people... over 1/2 a year since he met with his own jobs council. We can clearly see where his priorities aren't..

    He is courting college kids because most of them do not have to worry about the jobs numbers for another few more years.

    By that time it is after the election and then it wont matter anymore.

    Just like a leader – off to college town to campaign instead of going to check on the lives of millions of people affected by Hurricane Isaac. Wow that is impressive.

    Just like the CN article that they closed to comments – Love reveals that obamas style is like he plays basketball – competitive – maybe he should spend less time worrying about being competitive & more as a leader.

    Obamas specialty, brainwash the young while they are still fresh and ignorant. Obama can't make it without students, so he has to gear up his cute smile and the jaunty 'game on' persona for the kids. Propagandizing the young should be illegal.
