Robme will shoot through his backside first and then say that me misspoke.

Romney / Ryan is worst that McCain / Palin and Bush / Cheney.

The biased, partisan, main stream media has consistently promoted and sold Obama to the American public ... while trashing and demonizing his opponents. Along with the brain washed Obama zombies, they have catapulted Obama into the role of 'Fuhrer' ... and of 'Dear Leader'. The Obama Stooges love Obama more than they love America. Obama is destroying America. America is more important than Obama. Obama is expendable and replaceable ... America is not. Save America ... Elect Romney and Ryan in November !!!

The Bush / Cheney legacy destroyed America.

It took them 8 years to get us into this mess (an economic diaster, two wars) all costing trillions of dollars.

Now they are complaining that Obama did not clean up their mess fast enough.

Embassies have never been armed camps and never were intended to be. Do we want foreign embassies with consulates in our Capital armed? It has always been up to the host country to provide security. As for all the silliness by the Teapotties...here are the facts. Howard however is a paid stooge for the Koch brothers.

Our embassies historically have never been armed camps.
Plus, 7 embassies were stormed and people died under George W. Bush.
2002 the U.S.Consulate in Karachi, Pakistan 10 killed, 51 injured.
        2004 U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan was bombed -2 killed – several.injured
        2004 U. S. Consulate Saudi Arabia – 8 killed
        2006 U.S. Embassy Syria – 1 killed – several wounded
2007 U.S. Embassy Athens – was hit by a launched grenade fortunately the building was empty at time.
2008 U.S. Embassy Serbia – Set on Fire
        2008 U.S. Embassy Yemen – bombed 10 killed.
This can be fact-checked at Media Matters:- 'Krauthammer Whitewashes Bush's History to Bash Obama Over Embassy Attack -9/14/2012 – by Chelsea Rudman

Great job President Obama. I can't believe that everytime there is an election there is an anti-muslim film released.

I am sure the Repubtards were behind this one. America will not be fooled by right wing nuts. The islamic radicals are the same as the tea party radicals.

Robme will say and do anything to get elected.

        Romney = Republicans = Karl Rove + Ralph Reed + Grover Norquist = Super PAC + super rich + corporations = (B)

The turd is the Reputards Robme and Lying Ryan. Oh, I ran a marathon under 3 hours.

What a moron Ryan is, did he think that people were not going to find out, why professional athletes cannot run a marathon in that time.

        September 14, 2012 at 4:59 pm |
      • caramon

Lionel, professional athletes cannot run a sub 3 hour marathon? You cannot be serious. In 1980, Bill Rodgers was running under 2 hr 9 min. I believe the record today is under 2 hr 4 min. I think the record is still held by a runner from Kenya.

        September 15, 2012 at 8:52 pm |
      • jean2009

        According to a Runner's World Source: August 12, 2012

"A spokesman confirmed late Friday that the Republican vice presidential candidate has run one marathon. That was the 1990 Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota, where Ryan, then 20, is listed as having finished in 4 hours, 1 minute, and 25 seconds."

Was he running against grandmothers? LOL!

        September 16, 2012 at 11:28 pm |
      • jean2009

@Caramon...I hate to poke holes in the conversation...but eh!

According to Runner's World in the same article:

"In a statement issued to Runner's World by a spokesman Friday night, Ryan said of his marathon experience:

"The race was more than 20 years ago, but my brother Tobin—who ran Boston last year—reminds me that he is the owner of the fastest marathon in the family and has never himself ran a sub-three. If I were to do any rounding, it would certainly be to four hours, not three. He gave me a good ribbing over this at dinner tonight."

        September 16, 2012 at 11:37 pm |
      • Caramon

why professional athletes cannot run a marathon in that time.

Jean, I was responding to Lionel's statement that professional marathoners cannot run a sub-3 hour marathon. I personally have run the marathon starting with the Madison Marathon at age 14. I never made any comment related to Ryan's statement of a 3 hour marathon. The fact that he actually ran the marathon is worthy of comment.

        September 17, 2012 at 9:35 am |
      • jean2009

Caramon you should re-read your post at 8:52 p.m on the 15th...which states that they can....and I assume those who run marathons as a professional sport in that time would be up there with the best....but for someone like Ryan to fudge their numbers by 1 or 1 1/2 hours . Do we need a VP with amnesia! Please! Do I now take it that you were agreeing with Lionel?

        See quote below.

"Now bear with me while I tell you something I don’t understand – what is with Paul Ryan fudging his marathon time? If you missed it, last week in a radio interview he was asked if he had run a marathon before. Ryan said “Yes”, and when asked what his time was he said, “Under three, high twos. I had a two hour and fifty-something.”

This answer caught the attention of Runner’s World since most people don’t run that fast even when they are P90x superstars. Runners World did some vetting to find that Paul Ryan ran the Grandma’s Marathon in Duluth, Minnesota in 1991 when he was 20. His time? Four hours, one minute. Hmmm…that’s kinda different than 2:50 something.

I am not making a reference to politics here, people – please don't make this that debate. I would call out any Tom, Dick or Harry (including Biden or Obama) in the public eye who fudged like this. I mean we’re not talking a few minutes discrepancy here!"

The above is a quote from a runner on a different website.

Here is the post in question.

Caramon you should re-read your post at 8:52 p.m on the 15th...which states that they can. Who exactly is they? I made no reference to Paul Ryan or his marathon time. However, professional marathoners are well under 3 hours.

As I stated before. Bill Rodgers, who won the Boston marathon more than once qualified for the Olympic team in 1980. However, we boycotted that year. Hi record time was sub 2 hours and 9 minutes. Frank Shorter won the 1972 Olympic Gold Metal. His best time 2 hours and 10 minutes. Joan Benoit won the Gold Metal in 1984 with a time of 2 hours and 24 minutes. Have you even heard of these people?

Careful on the amnesia comment considering Joe Biden forgot what state he was in.

Tell us exactly what Romney said you think is wrong. Give me a president who will stand for America rather than bow down to people who want to kill us.
Are you the same Jean who defended Obama and his apology tour? It was simply another example of how wrong his "vision" is and how wrong people like you who follow blindly are. Romney is not Bush. And, better yet, he is not ObamaCarter. They are now clearly the two worst this country has EVER SEEN.

@js Here is the exact quote from Senator Obama when the Yemen Embassy was bombed in 2008. Not once does mention or lay blame on President Bush....or Candidate McCain.

"Chicago, IL - Below is a Statement from Senator Barack Obama on the Terrorist Attack in Yemen

"I strongly condemn today's outrageous attack on the U.S. Embassy in Yemen. I honor the embassy guards who defended the compound, and my thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families. While I am thankful that no American citizens were killed, I am deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives.

"Over seven years after 9/11, this latest attack calls on us to redouble our efforts to root out and destroy al Qaeda and its affiliates across the globe. This attack demonstrates the grave terrorist threat that exists from North Africa to Southeast Asia and around the world. This threat is made more dangerous by the sanctuary that al Qaeda has in Pakistan, which has allowed the organization to regroup, retrain, and re-establish links with operatives and affiliated groups.

"We must do more to strengthen the military, police, and intelligence capability in nations like Yemen that are on the front lines in the fight against terrorism. We need a Shared Security Partnership Program to build the infrastructure to deliver effective counter-terrorism training, and to create a strong foundation for coordinated action against al Qaeda and its affiliates. This program will provide assistance with information sharing, training, operations, border security, anti-corruption programs, technology, and the targeting of terrorist financing.

"We must also build on the successful investments in securing our embassies that were made after the embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania. This attack reminds us that we are all grateful for the Americans – troops and citizens serving our country in dangerous places around the world." – Sept. 17, 2008

The Romney statement bears no resemblance.

"I'm outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi," Romney said in the statement. "It's disgraceful that the Obama Administration's first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks."

All I can say is what a piece of work!

How long is obama and the left wing press going to keep a lid on the middle east mess? Looks like it is coming off..and H clinton as sec of state the humor in that election deal is now apparent. We need real adult leadership...and we are going to get it. Even Bob Woodward told that idiot charlie rose the other day obama was not leading(rose tried to argue and Woodward set him straight like a father to an ignorant son)...hated the congressional leaders of both houses and etc, said we have to have a president who creates relationships with other law makers and works to consensus...this is not in obama DNA...he is not a real American and it shows.

what is wrong with you? There is a military flotilla standing by in the middle east..some 30 ships, waiting for Israel to hit Iran....obama is sitting on his hands when this could be avoided...and you say 'unnecessary wars'. What do you think will happen if Iran or one of the other middle least countries use their nukes...how many do you think will perish, and do you have any idea what this will do to the fragile world economies right now? No you don't because YOU are ignorant because you vote color not substance...sick sick sick. The proper use of force saves lives..something obama doesn't care to do...ask your self why.

        @ november

Let me put this bluntly...I for one do not think that our duly and legally elected president should assume the position at the whim of Bbi Netanyahu. For any foreign party to assume he would is beyond belief. Our president's job is to represent the best interests of the American people and not kowtow to someone from Israel who always has his hand out. I am appalled that Robme and Lyin Ryan indicate they would be willing to bend over. Which makes me wonder if you are an American or a paid Israeli stooge.

Standing by Israel is not the same as bending over on demand!
