Obama on NFL refs (CNN)–A botched touchdown call Monday night and a tongue lashing from the president may have helped push the NFL referee controversy across the goal line. As millions of sports fans celebrate an agreement between the NFL and its referees, the number one fan-in-chief is once again weighing in. White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters Thursday aboard Air Force One that the president was "very pleased" that the two sides have come together. Carney told reporters, "going forward when we watch our favorite teams play in the NFL we can focus on the players and the game rather than on officiating." This comes just days after the president weighed in on the lockout telling reporters Tuesday at the White House, "I've been saying for months, we've gotta get our refs back." The president was asked about the weekend's controversial touchdown call in the Seattle Sea Hawks versus Green Bay Packers game and he called it "terrible". Thursday Carney said of the resolution, "It is a great day on America." |

His brother Jed was to run but George W. complained and cried to his Father so much that they went ahead and let him run for President. The Telecommunications Act of 1996 was really put in place by the Bush Administration to provide wireless communications to the poor, the elderly, and in areas of the country that to not have wireless access. Actually some parts of the Act already existed in the Lifeline program of the 1980's under Reagan. The Telecommunications Act is the act that helped put computers in public libraries.....if elderly need to call 911, or the unemployed need to have a phone when applying for a job that is a necessity. Federal Funds are not used...no tax dollars are spend on the wireless phones are covered under non-profit Universal Service Fund. This is also the same Telecommunications Act that had people with outdated television antennas scrambling to get the hook-up attachment so they could still watch TV.

Issues like: Colombian prostitutes and WH involvement, "green loan" debacle, Fast and Furious debacle, Losing the Libyan Embassy (still not recovered) and the lies about how it happened, GAO party scandal, EPA court losses, Obamacare hidden taxes, impact of expiring tax cuts 1/1/13, $13 billion loss on GMAC, Student loan defaults are up, Q1 GDP downgraded to 1.3% from 1.9%, the ever chilling US-Israeli relationship, the ARAB Winter in Syria, Tunisia, Egypt, Morsi calls upon the US govt to curtail 1st Amendment. What about the political discourse and impact of these issues. You report the current event for an article but do not link it to the politics of the campaign. Oh that might hurt Obama.
